Can you believe that a man can jump like a dolphin ?
Performed with a monofin, this jump is realised by Mauricio Fernandez a finswimming champion.
This is an extract from the video "Finspirit in San Andres"

you can see bubbles rising alongside him as he starts his ascent, and just before he surfaces. it's not sped up. this man is simply a beast.

thevampirefrog06 I wonder, how do marine mammal trainers handle this? Killer whale trainers used to go down with the whale to a nine meter depth, then launch up again and be thrown in the air, several times a day. I know nothing about diving, so how might they have handled the pressure change?

Frida Nyberg The human body is actually fit to go to up to about 150 meters and suffer no harm, it is just a matter of technique and a bit of knowledge. If you want to know more about it, look up equalizing and you'll find the complete explanation of why your ears hurt and how to avoid it!

That's great! Best I've seen yet! I swear I read somewhere online a while back they were offering a substantial cash prize for this. I've been attempting it and working on inventing a better fin for a while with my meager means in my spare time. I can't get quite as high as you, but close. About a foot less. Technically he's not at full breach. His feet haven't cleared by the time his center of gravity starts to drop. Still awesome, though!

I'm also not saying that my idea is the only right idea. There are often times multiple different ads for new products like this, some showing the practical features, some showing the crazy features. Sometimes that works better, so in that case you are right. My idea was simply to combine them, mainly because of the non-mainstream and more documentary style feel this ad had. There are so many different elements and possibilities involved in advertising. It's never black and white.
