Here in this clip , they play a snare drum warmup and go into their snare drum solos that they freestyled on the spot . These kids had an early start in learning how to play drums. As you can see, they are too young to be in marching band right now but one day you may see them with your favorite drumline in an HBCU, DCI or WGI line .

I played snare in High School in the seventies, put my sticks down after graduating. I just turned 62 earlier this month, and for the first time in over 40 years I am compelled to get my sticks and start beating on books or something again.
