I think we should all be reminded that Musicians should never be pulling eachother down. This is about expression. One of these comments could be enough for a Musician who could have been incredible one day to stop playing altogether because they don't feel good enough. This video is fantastic. These are young kids who had to start somewhere and some of them will grow up to be the most incredible drummers you've ever had the pleasure of knowing. They're having FUN. They're learning together, growing together. Constructive criticism is what we should be offering eachother. Point out their positives, and HELP them where they could use some help. Open up your minds. Raise eachother up.

@@evanguzman5735 it doesnt matter knowing to play percussion or not. What matters is that the music brought fellow drummers together and they actually sportfully competed without attitudes and had fun. On that note I will say alot of them should practice on their drumming a tad bit more because a true drummer doesn't look at his drums. I know they are young and not that experienced so practice more on that and y'all will have it as I seen. Thats what caused alot of off key hits. Otherwise I enjoyed it alot and wish y'all had more. Honestly yes they messed up jig 2 a lot. But what i find cool is that every band got together and instead of just competing for "the best drumline", they got together to attempt jig 2. I truly truly think this video is beautiful, as person that was born into serious poverty I’ve seen what people become when they lose hope. What I see when I look at these kids and what I hear as they jam out is the will of a generation that needs guidance. They want to live, and they want to be excellent; even though it’s just drums I look at the fact that they’re wanting to be there doing those movements getting better and most of all having a inexplainable time. •Without reading the comments I was gonna make a comment, I still am and it’s unchanged but everyone “cringing” at the “skill of these kids” is literally cringe themselves for saying useless negativity about KIDS HAVING A GOOD TIME. I wish I could’ve done this kinda stuff when I was in drum line all through high school lol! We only got to play at games, MCBA competitions, and homecoming parades but I still loved it! Always make sure to cherish every moment of band class bc it goes by sooo fast😅

As a saxophone player, I am cringing for all the woodwinds getting rained on right now. The Pads and their Glue!! Does no one think of the Pads?

As the center snare of a band that has been to nationals and received the best percussion award I can say with full confidence, that this is in fact not a legendary drum battle lol
