@Hiburan Santai I understand that with how modern algorithms and generally stupid audiences work that it can be more beneficial for creators to give into it, so I don't necessarily blame the creators for that, they're just doing what audiences react to. That said, it's refreshing to see creators who just do what they enjoy without giving in to the unfortunate decline of modern internet media.

Oh yum, Apam Ballk reminds me of my mum and nearly every Sunday morning she’d walk down to Fettes Rd In Penang and would bring home the apam balik with peanuts and sugar for breakfast. It’s One of my favourite things about living in Malaysia as a RAAF Brat/kid.

In filming a KZbin video about Malaysian food, I realized that I was only scratching the surface. This video definitely confirms that. There is so much good food and creative food, at that, that is Malaysian. I just wish this kind of Malaysian street food were more available. Especially where I am.

I'm Malaysian. For those who dont know, Bazaar Ramadan is rows of stalls selling food for breaking fast. They start selling at 4 pm. It is only available during the Muslim fasting month. For the Roti John, I had to remind myself its JB prices(big cities price is higher) since I'm from a smaller state. Roti John here near my home is MYR8 or MYR9 only. The fruit juice is worth it though I have never eaten a MYR12 Apam Balik but the size looks extra large & the D. Beacon ordered extra toppings.

Malays are fasting, so as a sign of respect it’s not good to eat in front of them especially in a Ramadan bazaar where Malays usually come to buy food when the sun is up, as they can only eat after sun down or before sun rise
