Another fantastic day in Newcastle after meeting up with John from Mondo Chelloveck Movies, Sammy G Stingin' An' A Mingin' In 'A Area from Sammy G's World Of Cinema and Jordan The Movie Worm. We had such a laugh and it was lovely to have a catch up with the lads. I got 2 Blu Ray titles in the 2 for £15 section and one of them I've wanted for years. Then an absolute bargain horror 4K had arrived while I was out.

Hi Sir RockGod, Great meet up with John, Sammy G & Movie worm, & good you had some photos together, shooting footage can be awkward & difficult as some stores can be funny about it, & for me a bonus if one can, certainly not a must, WOW what a bargain for the 4K Blue Underground release of "Maniac" & for £16, i still have the blu ray collectors edition from Blue Underground with the cd soundtrack but i have though about this edition as its a excellent classic dark & sweaty horror movie. Great stuff Nigel 👍

Picked up this Murder by Decree release following your recommendation Nige, and watched it yesterday. Loved it. Picked it up 2 for £15 with the Elephant Man, bargain. Hi Nige, Some good pickups there, Never seen Murder By Decree so i really need to pick it up, been told its one of the better Sherlock Holmes movies so yeah i will get it soon. I was not a fan of Masque of Red Death but its been years since i have seen it, I am subbed to the other guys and they are all top blokes. Thanks for the video.

@@bushmanblu426 Bless you mate, thank you so much. Yeah I was very underwhelmed with Masque Of The Red Death, nowhere near as good as the films in that Arrow Vincent Price Gothic Tales box set. Murder By Decree - what a film. James Mason is absolutely fantastic as Dr. Watson, as is Christopher Plummer as Holme's, they both did an excellent job. The story, acting and atmosphere is absolutely fantastic.

Yeah, that Studiocanal deal is very very reasonably priced. Shame High Crime has its climax cut. But Murder By Decree is a fantastic Sherlock Holmes film, with Christopher Plummer giving a great performance. Special mention to James Mason as Watson. He was great.

I must admit I tend to be very careful when buying slipcase releases from High Street retailers. I scrutinise the copies they have on the shelves and check for any packaging imperfections before I decide which one to buy.😉

Christopher Plummer makes for a capable and memorable Sherlock Holmes but his terrific take on the character is terrible in battling bad guys. MBD is an enjoyable effort worthy of repeated viewings for my money.👍
