I ordered the one with the red light instead of the uv. That suits my nighttime outdoor needs more. I do love my arkfelds, but this one has more of what I specifically want. Thanks for the look.

For me, the Wurkkos HD01 beat this and the Arkfeld handily. The floodlight is far more useful, and I can run the laser and flashlight TOGETHER (in fact the flashlight can be run together with ANY of the secondary modes - and there are TEN of them available- unless you also count colors- then there are over two hundred). For project management in construction where lighting is often sketchy where you need to point at things, this is huge. I do kinda miss UV, but unless the competition gets a LOT more versatile, I'm sticking with my HD01.

Great build quality except that awful plastic rocker switch

this is a pretty cool light. it reminds me of the capabilities of the Olight Arcfeld pro. ( which also has a UV and laser pointer modes) both have benefits over the other. this one is a bit smaller than the Arcfeld, but is not quite as bright on it's highest mode, and does not have a moonlight mode. I have a few Olights with moonlight, and those are my most commonly used modes. if you haven't see the Arcfeld, you might want to look at it. I might be getting one of these to put in my wheelchair kit, but I do like the simple nature of the Arcfeld interface, and it's moonlight and lock out features. you didn't say, does this light have a lockout?

@@MountainAC1 lockout. some of my lights, most of the more powerful ones, have a mode where you hold the switch for 3-5 seconds, while it is off. it will blink on, then back off, and the switch is locked, so you can not accidentally turn it on in your pocket, or pack. lights that do not have this have turned on in my pack more than once, draining the batteries ( and if it HAD been one of the more powerful lights, it might have burned the pack)

Maybe, if you are thinking of form factor... but then that makes Olight's Arkfeld line a 'knockoff' of Streamlight, Surefire, and Nitecore.
