Your classes are the best overall for learning to solo. I have tried all the popular teachers on the internet. And don't get me wrong they are all good in various way, no question, but yours are the most direct, straightforward, and right to the heart and "meat" of the lesson and how to do it. Thank you very much for being such a good teacher. For example, your licks are the most on point. Just like you have said in your videos, you only need like 10-20 main licks and from those , we can adapt and extend them to create so many more licks by being creative. I think that yours are right to the point. So many other teachers offer just bogus licks. Or, maybe they have the kernel of the main lick in there, but there are lots of extra notes and they haven't explained it like you did , that there is a core lick and it can be adapted to create so many others. Again , thank you. Also another thing is that you explain rhythm very clearly. I finally am gaining a better understanding of how the licks fit into the rhythm patterns and beat patterns

Great lesson. I have not play guitar for 17 years. 3 day ago started again. Your lessons get me back in pretty good shape again (even my fingers still hurt like a beginner, because I play acoustics for now) . By the way where can I download the midi template that that you use as background/rhythm guitar?

Your lessons are great, but there are times that it would be helpful if you took a bit more time to clarify exactly which string and which fret that you are playing. Sometimes it is hard for novices like myself to see exactly which string is being played.

HP for solos do you just run delay, no reverb? I can understand that delay into reverb could make single notes confused. Is that your "theory"/reason?
@Hpcrazy
@Hpcrazy 6 жыл бұрын
I always use both - but to get a reverb sounding lead sound the delay is what makes the difference.
