This is great Don we love your videos and we only just discovered the museum recently despite living in Stowmarket for 5 years! We knew it existed but didn’t realise just how big it is and about the amazing walks. Really interesting to hear about what has been happening there. It’s worth pointing out that the entry fee is £12 but that gives you full access for a whole year which is incredible value for money. Keep up the great work you are doing unearthing amazing local walks and teaching us all about the history of this lovely part of Suffolk.

Thanks Nigel. We’ve lived here 30 years and I hadn’t realised how big the Museum land is till Tom took me on this walk. Yes, I nearly put the entrance fee in, but that then dates the video for future viewers and also, they always have a free open day every year. So in the end, I just put the website link in so people who are interested can get the up to date info and see special events etc. Thanks for watching and supporting the channel. 😀👍

Could somebody tell me if there are kingfishers there?

There are kingfishers along that river valley. Definitely seen on the neighbouring property. Obviously difficult to spot but not sure if they appear on the museum land.
