Well done on possibly being the only KZbinr that reviews blades on data rather than talking about zero forgiveness, (whilst flashing up quad data that says otherwise.) 😂 Based on your last Wilson blade video and a chance FB Marketplace advert I have them in the bag from 6-P. I love them and don’t see anymore drop off than other irons I’ve had.

If money was no object, I’d have these as a second set that would be only taken out on a beautiful summer evening when I’m playing by myself and putting a couple of balls down on each shot. When finished, take them home, clean them and put them back in their box ! ❤

@FF04RDF Exactly my thoughts, when I bought the WS FG62 blades (on sale) just because they are so beautiful. However, they are in my bag more often than I ever imagined. Mind you, I also have the CBs from that generation (FG Tour V2), with the exact same specs, so switching back and forth isn't really a problem.

fabulous looking club, I have the previous version and they are an absolute delight to hit and surprisingly forgiving. Right up there with any other blade on the market. Great review too.

If only I had the ability for these, I play the D7 forged and love them and the looks. For some reason have always played Wilson , my dad had Wilson persimmon woods in the 60/70’s which I played in the 80’s. Stopped playing until 2021 and still used the persimmon 3/5 woods. And wilson x31 irons from the 80’s. Picked up a real bargain with the D7’s If I was to change clubs I’d like to try very light clubs as have always preferred light bats/racquets etc in sports

Thanks Jay for this!! Really great job. I am looking to play all these 2024 Wilson Staff Model Woods irons md wedges and was waiting for this review. I think this is even a big leap up from last years model mb aestherically and looking at your numbers on the performance side as well. Marry it with the right shaft and my go to shaft has always been the KBS Tour 120 stiff, and you have a set of dedicated blades for life or at least 10 hears. I thoroighly enjoyed playing with Wilson 1200's bck inthe mid 1980's and played with a laminated 1200 3 wood which was a phenomimal club. Wilson stepping up a gear to challenge the big manufacturers. They better get loads of stock in cos this amd the cb are gonna fly off the racks in pro shops worldwide.

I think this seals it for me, am a Mizuno fan boy but have held on to my MP20MB/MMC combo as the 221/223 and the 241/243 combos just don’t do it for me. The lack of 1025e in 223 - which I owned for a while - 243 and a simple CB model have put me off. The 223/243 type iron doesn’t make sense to me, if you want that type of iron get a JPX. Whereas Wilson are getting it right, lovely blades and a combo CB with the same lofts for a bit of help in the longer clubs if you want it. It just makes sense. Only issue is finding a Wilson fitting centre!

Incredible looking blades Jay. You and Wilson would be a match made in heaven 😍. Wilson should up the ante with a sponsorship offer to you and kick Mizuno aside!😜

I have my personal preferences that I like to play, wear, use etc. On the sponsorship front in staying out of the complexities and the inevitable bias that being paid by a manufacturer brings. By being independent I can say what I want when I want without anyone pulling any of my strings 👍🏻👍🏻

For money probably the T100s only that they look a touch more forgiving but in reality there is next to no difference..... I'm every other situation.... The Wilsons 👍🏻

I just had a day dream of this scenario that made me laugh. Picture J casually browsing your local golf equipment store. He is gently caressing all the chrome blades on display, when he over hears the " I could have gone pro" salesman. The salesman is very adamant that the very new to golf customer should be purchasing the latest LS driver paired with the X Stiff shaft, because if that's what the pro's use then it must be what's best for everyone... Letting out a sigh, and shaking his head slowly, Mr. golf nut very carefully wipes the drool from the chrome piece he's holding and lays it back on the rack. With the look of a father who has watched just 17 too many episodes of Paw Patrol, he grudgingly walks over to the scene. J once again spreads his vast knowledge of golf equipment and mechanics to the two lost souls, one feeling enlightened, the other embarrassed. J leaves the store feeling drained and desperate for a cigarette, once again regretting not taking up bowling instead of golf all those years ago.

Actually think the CB looks better. Did they change anything performance or tech wise from the last CB? If you've had a look at them
@AskGolfNut11 ай бұрын
Honestly not massively, it's, not going to hugely push the needle, it's more of a continuation on moving them in the direction they want. If you already have the old CB then I wouldn't say running out to by the upgrade is a sound idea, unless you just want something shiny 😊👍🏻👍🏻

@AskGolfNut11 ай бұрын
I think they think at least that lesser is better..... In a blade I agree, I think when it comes to the non staff range, whenever it does change to a more minimum look it may look out of place....👍

It's the modern trend of minimalist brand logos. Different but they may bring back the letters in the next version.
