Sooo much easier to listen to than Dr. Quiff! You are a great communicator Brian . Thanks for the effort you put in, thanks to Costco for keeping the prices low. Keep up the great work!!!

Purchased my first set of hearing aids, and after seeing your videos I decided on trying Costco, especially since the Costco I went to had a doctor of audiology. With Costco selling hearing aids at a lower cost I figured the financial risk of making an error isn't all that great compared to cost at other places. The doctor recommended the Philips Hearlink 9050, which I was happy to hear (pun intended :) since I was originally looking at the Oticon Intent . The only downside is Costco had to order the hearing aids, but I only have to wait a few more days :) Great videos!

I tried Jabra on their 100-day trial, great hearing aids for $1500 with a discount, they didn't work with my Android phone is the only reason I returned them.

I’d love to know which ones they were, they’re probably sitting in the glass case at Costco, but the premium versions

Thank you for the straight info style (without all the Dr Cliff gimmicks). I’ll be checking out Costco for my next pair!

My pleasure! I’m trying to get Costco’s name out there so people stop throwing away money. Who cares if these other “big companies” lose money because of the unfair position Costco has. The fact is, you are paying 6-10 grand on something you can get for $1500. People need to know. And nobody is talking about it. I hope more people see these videos.

Thank for your videos on hearing aids. I took your advice and got some Jabbra's. They are amazing. Huge difference between these and $100 generics. With these hearing aids matched to my hearing, I hear the "s" sound and others I've been missing for a few years. Now I'm back into conversations with groups, and flying solo to Honduras for scuba at 72. Confidence. Don't kid yourself into thinking no one is saying anything that important...

I have KS9 and KS10 hearing aids from Costco. I tried local audiologists with my first two pairs of hearing aids. They cost much more and were not programmed as well as my Costco units. Since then I have recommended Costco to three other people who are also very pleased with theirs.

When I found the Price club in Sacramento and they had those big packs of batteries where they weren’t giving them out through a straw in a drugstore, it warmed my thrifty Irish heart. I actually got the Jabra 20s on your recommendation and am beginning to really appreciate them.

I purchased my first pair of Rexton Reach hearing aids through Costco. Fantastic service!! The hearing specialist that assisted me, provided excellent service! My only question is what to do when out in extreme winter conditions? I'm concerned if wearing a tight stocking cap and having the hearing aid getting caught on the inside of the stocking cap, when taking it off and to prevent moisture from getting on them. I love your channel!! It's very helpful! Best Duane

Great video. I bought the jabra based on your recommendation. The woman at my costco is a little snooty however, I found out I can go to any Costco for service.

Oh no lol, ya you will get some different people taking care of your hearing aids, not all folks will mesh well, that’s just a fact.

Costco makes most of its profit from selling memberships. It’s an unusual business model but it works. I bought the Philips 9040 last spring. I’m one of those people who love Costco and shopping there.

People seem to think you don’t get the same quality products or service from Costco as compared to private companies. Not so ! My first hearing aids were from a private clinic in Canada and I struggled even though they did try . My second pair were KS7 and I had a great fitter Robert in Saskatoon. He was great with any adjustments. My third pair were Rexton Bicore from Costco in Florida. These were fitted by another great audiologist Jay . I have been very impressed with both experiences!
@HearingClubАй бұрын
People don’t think they are because nobody talks about, there’s no advertising and the only people that say anything are the fitters trying to sell them $6,000 hearing aids. Until I came around, nobody was talking about it. I hope people listen to
@vadec5909Ай бұрын
Yes Costco is great in Canada as well, it’s good they are so big!! But I think hearing aids will get cheaper because of the OTC ones will get better. Once Canada allows OTC hearing aids it will help. I would buy the Apple pro 2s in a minute!! lol I always buy something extra too

If I didn't have good insurance, Costco would be my first choice. There are folks on the hearing forums and some I know personally who don't have good insurance or any at all that want better than OTC hearing aids or have exceeded their capacity but can't afford to upgrade. I tell them to at least give Costco a try and it may very well be worth the $60. annual membership fee. Costco while being widely known for so many other things, is still probably one of the best kept secrets in the hearing aid market. I try to get the word out as often as I can.

My First hearing aids was from Costco. That was 2 years ago, and cost me $1,200. I got tired of the behind the ear model. I honestly have to tell you I bought my Audien Pro 2 inside the ear for $280.00 and LOVE THEM. They are small easy to use and no "behind the ear" look. People need to look at the money difference for what you pay for. NO THANKS to Costco, been there done that.

Confused on my Philip's 9050. They are supposed to adjust automatically. I dont notice ANY adjusment happening on my app settings. If iwalk away from my phone, I sometimes notice changes like fading in and out of one aid at a time. Can you offer info on this
@DonBrowneАй бұрын
The bluetooth receiver will cut out when you get to far from the phone and usually the ear that is blocked by your head.
@HearingClubАй бұрын
You won’t see any of the automatic changes, you will hear them, most of the time you won’t even notice the automatic changes. These hearing aids are constantly changing and scanning your environment. This all happens behind the scenes.
@cherylslovakehrmantraut1911Ай бұрын
@HearingClub thank you. Will any changes show on my phone i.e. + or - numbers rather than 0? Also, what do I have to do if at a function (funeral) to answer a ringing phone rather than it coming directly into my ear

Thanks Brian for your wonderful videos. I went to Costco last week and had a comprehensive hearing test performed. I wanted the Jabra Pro 20 hearing aids based on your review. Late last month I bought a pair of Apple AirPod Pro 2 headphones when iOS 18.1 came out. I wanted to try them since the price was amazing if they worked. I didn’t like having my ears closed off all of the time, nor did I like the short battery capacity, about six hours maximum. Additionally, they were not that comfortable to wear continuously. I returned them and got an appointment at Costco. After my hearing test, the fitter loaned me a pair to try out at the store. I was amazed at how well I could hear conversations of the other shoppers while walking around the noisy environment. I was immediately sold. I will keep you informed after I pick them up next Monday. Thanks for your good work. .
