75% wont come back, they would just complain their team sucks. Most of the time i would be one of them i guess. Videos like this are gold. Only playing since a few weeks, so i learn alot from this. Playing a light is always gambling, specially for new players.

The problem with aggressive spotting positions is that a lt from the other team will yolo you and you both die. If it’s early in the game then you have a crappy score.

Continuing the thought: When I started playing with a clan (RNT - Road Not Taken) one of the first training lessons was if you move from A to B what is your ex-fil route to get out of B? Always plan your escape route before making the move to a new position.

i'm just a random low-tier muppet that also hasn't played in a while, but i got my probably best light tank game on this map. i was playing my fairly new amx 12t on the eastern spawn and was mostly operating around C7. was a fairly infuriating game where my team didn't quite shoot as much as i wanted them to, so i was hugging that rock and defended that tree line as best as i coud for most of the game. we still lost and damage/spotting wasn't really yt worthy, but i was really proud of myself and my low-skill crew. at least it's more fun (if it works), than light gameplay on campinabushka (even if less rewarding).

binocs for passive scouting on a few maps makes sense. the "camp in a bushka" maps. maybe a secondary set up. one set up with optics, the other with binocs so you can switch pre battle.

On low tiers (tiers with no CVS), many recommend using optics with binocs. The extra kick in view range you get when you slowly creep up position (crawling up bush to bush then allowing the binocs to activate) acts like a budget CVS.

​@@jgold2813 that usually happens at lower tier games (tier 3 - 6). Imagine a tier 4-5-6 game, being a tier 6 td. Your team has ZERO lights, enemy team has 4 x tier 4 lights. You can be the best player in Wot, you'll still lose :)

That would be fantastic if on console every time I played a light it wasn't 5 lights vs 5 lights. It literally just turns into tdm where one team of lights will chase the other teams down. Then whoever wins that goes on to just run through the other team. I don't think I've ever had 1 light vs one light lol..

Not an expert light tank driver, but my understanding is for flexibility of spotting. Optics gives you a bonus all the time, so you can switch between active/ passive as the map/ situation demands. Also, on most lights with a decent crew Binocs are over-kill for all but the most distant of spots.... and generally the good positions are not that far away. All told, binocs tend to be a better option for "campy" TD's rather than lights. There will always be exceptions of course, but in random queue having the flexibility to adapt to various situations pays off in the long run over being hyper-specialised and constrained to one specific playstyle that will only really pay-off on a couple of maps anyways. That's my take at least, superior light tank drivers may know better. However, it's no accident that some of the most successful vehicles (and players for that matter) are the ones that excel at being flexible/ adaptive in their play, not specialised.... this is for win-rate purposes of course.

Hey Claus - I might want to argue with your assertion that you don't have a life, at least as it relates to "work". I spent a lot of years in an office, 8 to 5, WORKING. And given the choice would much prefer to have spent my time at home making WoT videos! And you get to head outdoors and play with Marty whenever. And wear whatever you want even in front of the camera. So enjoy the fact you're getting to skip 40 to 45 years of WORK to get to where you are now. My only suggestion would be to move your studio up out of the basement and get A ROOM WITH A VIEW!

This is probably one of the crappiest maps for LTs. Every time I get this map in a LT I just give myself one huge facepalm.

The "best spot" can NOT spot A8, it spots the SOUTHERN part of A8, the rest is blocked by the mountain in A7 and beyond. Any decent player up there will only drive up on the hill if there is no spotter in that "best spot" location. The rest will line up in the northern part of A8 and have line of fire against D4 to E6 area. I totally agree that the map is uneven and that the "best spot" is vastly better, but it also relies on the other team doing stupid crap, just slightly less so than eastern team does. Overall, it's a BAD map for scouts. I too have had a rare few good games there as scout, but 9 times out of 10, regardless what tactics you try, you either die early or get more damage than assist. Whenever i've tried the "best spot" however, i tend to get counterspotted, at absurd ranges, sometimes far beyond what should be possible, so there's probably a "miniature gap" in the bushes there somewhere. Often get proxyspotted there as well, from east team going up north from the center height. So, again, it's a good place but, it's often also a DANGEROUS place. The safer positition are the bushes just north of that place. You don't get as much of A8 and you get much less vision southwards, but you also usually survive much longer.

Ordinary promotion from WOT tips !! don't buy premium or premium tanks!!! it's useless anyway, the server determines the damage,,..determines victory and defeat .. If you upload min Damage to the opponent, the server will automatically flip and give Victory/ if High damage to the opponent - it is automatically Defeat.. You have a tank of 8 levels and you are approximately at the bottom of the team or on the bottom team composition, stacked from level 10 = It's automatically a win because you have no chance to shoot down Level 10 that is: min. damage = victory.!!! If you are on the highest rungs in the lineup, e.g. team level 8 to level 6 , Automatically = high damage to the opponent and you automatically = Defeat!! Server. BLOCKS....visibility, enemy detections, opponent damage, you can just do whatever you want :D !! it's wasted money!! You actually have more losses than wins in the game!! Ask yourself another question.. how many times have you recorded what you see here? (it's easy to play if you're an admin with a good game mode!), and this thieving company gives replays like this every day ... they're just lying to you and fooling you it's a great game, waiting for you to adjust the game mode to the minimum so that you can put real money into it!! Also note that they offer only premium or 10 level tanks, where you have huge losses in the game even during premium, especially if you use gold-i (premium cartridges)!!! , for 1 battle minus up to 8-20,000 cash... if not more... wt.
