I'd like to add a brief note, which was cut from the video due to time. Light tank gameplay is based on the "what-if"s. WHAT IF there's an FV4005 at the end of that road, just waiting to shoot? WHAT IF their light tank is in that random bush off to the side? WHAT IF you get spotted in this position? Patience is good, but playing a situation through in your mind before attempting it, helps immensely. Cheers for 500 subs, glad people find the video helpful or resourceful!

Biggest struggle about marking elc even 90 was those games where team was... Ineffective and you had to do damage. You had to shoot with the worst dpm in tier 5 with worse gunhandling than most tier 3 tanks... Dear god it was pain. Thankfully playing it after not having to care about marks is really fun.

It is actually worse then that, bad players assume you are not spotting just because they are out of drawing range !!! Random battles are not 15 vs 15 , they are 1 vs 29.

I get you bro, lost my shit yesterday at a cent and a bourasque as I sat in a bush on a hill with my sp1c, with the stock engine, being called an idiot and being shot at by the bourasque, drove up where they told me too when I typed a paragraph of shit at them, promptly died as I was slow and outspotted by a t71, just as I predicted. Unless my tank is fast as fucc, I'll try and get in spots where I can spot and hopefully getting spotting damage if my team bothered and try and survive the game. Too often I lose a game cause we can't outspot the enemy cause the light tank died in 1 min of the game starting.

I understand passive spotting, and it can totally affect and even reverse the outcome of a battle. What I don't understand is when your team is crumbling and the guy in the light tank who hasn't moved from the same bush he has been in from the beginning is still just sitting in that bush doing nothing. While the enemy is surrounding everyone and that light is no longer the reason for enemy tanks getting lit. Yet that light has now pretty much decided he'll just hope to survive since he hasn't been spotted yet. At one point in time it's time to use your gun and run. Yet they don't. Until they are the last one and are finally spotted.

I've recently started getting into Light Tanks and enjoying how they play and working with the minimap, but the way the team sometimes treats me is very discouraging, even if we win and I feel like I did good. This video really helps me in getting discouraged less!

LT's nowadays isn't the best experience. More than half of the games you are spotting for a pacifists team, that doesn't wanna shoot enemies, even tho you are spotting more than half of their team for 3 to 5 minutes...

One of the best things WG has ever done, or any company in ANY video game is the Couragous Resistance mechanic. Getting a winning levels of reward for a lost game means you stop caring if your team is good or not. Just do your job and look only at your own score. Also I disabled chat like 7 years ago. Best decision I have ever done in this game. 0 stress, just focusing on what I do and looking only at my own mistakes

yesterday We where being overrun 6 or 7 to 3 so I bailed. The SU100 was going bonkers because He died. I bailed a little late and took a few hits. We ended winning by capping with only me and another player v 5

I'm always tempted to turn off chat when I decide to play a LT session. It's awlays the guy whose only LT gameplay is in low tiers to grind up medium lines flaming you for not playing an LT correctly.

I'm playing 4d chess with my internet provider. I'm losing ATM. I blocked Widepark because in my experience it was the most steamroller map I played. Still loved that you baited them out of cap 🤣

Yeah you're probably right active scouting is the most difficult skill heavy class to play now don't get me wrong there's some good armored mediums and heavies that can also do the active scout roll on accident but just lumbering forward or trying to hit the flanks if they're fast enough but usually it's lights are open top TDS that are king of vision speaking of which the scorpion g in my opinion needs to have just a little more view range like say 25 more that's a not so humble opinion too

Been pushed out of cover, into fire, pushed off a cliff and tk all because of my stats. around 60k and about 484 winrate. I get some really horrible comments in game and even after saying how bad I am. In the Hall of Fame where would you think I am for spot dmg? Top 98% and was in the top 5k in the EU

Bond optics, CVS (boosted slot), low noise exhaust. Crew is on their 7th perk, so they have pretty much anything you'd want.

@@lncoming cool. Pretty much what I have on my own, except not so well developed crew skills. Do you think ELC has been nerfed recently? I struggle to spot sometimes, but 6th sense is going off with no-one in view.

The most fun I've had is playing my e25 as a dedicated scout both camo modules and binocs basically let me go at any part of the map and not have to worry about being blind shot because the setup wasn't affected by commander's vision for on the traditional spotters & the greater flexibility all around let you go to places that didn't have blind shot magnets that a lot of passive scouts have to deal with either from Artie or other high ammo count slash experienced players but that's just my not so humble opinion. Even that topic gameplay couldn't keep me playing indefinitely because wargaming is just too retarded and done too many drongo moves so like many I fled the sinking ship & and ironically went to world of warships maybe that'll be another sinking ship but so far so good.

I play lights to just piss off my team and see who will take the bait. There is ALWAYS someone. LOL. It's so fun!! What people don't realize is it's a game and supposed to be fun. Addition to point 1. (ignore your team) fustrated TD's. The vast majority of those you see playing light tanks, don't watch videos like this and are bad, by they time they see you thay are fustrated and let you have it, you need to focus on your play, if you follow what Incoming says here you will improve and thats all anyone can ask of someone learning to play a light tank. Incoming. what is with the low level music in the background? it isn't loud enough to be music, therefor it is noise, we don't watch your videos for music, otherwise great video.

CVS ruins the meta all thanks to wg once again needlessly nerfing tank destroyers. all some one has to do t8 now is mount cvs, go forward bush and camp. WG continued hate for tds ruins the game balance, because cvs promotes more camping than countering it just like their "anti camping" class
