While the OP Spotting positions are neat - and great games are possible. In reality Claus, you are completely dependent on your team having a clue. I use both bushes with maxed concealment, LNM, CVS, Vision or CAMO, and all crew 100% Conceal.... food, and natural cover - 90% of the time I am lucky to get 2,000 spotting. I further, EVEN with camo net, got spotted from 200-300M in 18 (11 with Cam Net ) of them - 100% IN the bush, NOT MOVING. I ran 100 games and checked all the teams, my "teams" averaged 60,000+ LESS games and 24,520 less WN8. I ran into Unicom platoons ( enemy ) in 27 games. and out of 100 games I had 3 zeros 19 times and 2 zeros 37 times ( not counting the 3 zero games ). In short, matchmaking plays a HUGE - insurmountable actually, part of good games and matchmaking is clearly a S*!@ Show.

Thanks for the tip about the magic bush Claus! I blind-fired that bush and fried me up an M41! I'm just a regular shmoe casual player and that was a hoot for me. And we won the game! I died tho. What you learn does NOT matter. WOT is NOT a game. A game is played according to rules and decided by skill, strength, or luck. WOT involves none of those because WOT rigs the matches. It is pure crapware. Much better products out there.

The trick is to pull through the fence like you are going to that bush and the pull back to the bush just before the fence. Enemy players will sniper view and see the fence is broken and think you are in the bush shown. They will blind shoot the wrong bush all game while you are safe in the bush next to it.

Yep. I do the same on several maps. Knock down a whole row of fencing that is next to bushes so enemy tanks or arty can't see where you knocked down a single section to enter the bush. Don't let them know which bush you're playing in. Play in as much bush as you can!

Actually, in the second part (10'15"), the Manticore was shot by it's own teammate in B-C25T then a blindshot from opposite Leopard. He wasn't spotted from the city by the adversaries.

In that first position on the north spawn, that rock has a place where you can pull back for cover if they start blind firing. If they do you can just poke enough to spot them again and pull back. Just don't let someone coming from the town spot you out of the bush.

Those magic bushes have ended my push up the road and/or the drive thru town so many times. I have made them work once in a great while but usually I end up blind shot and back in the garage. Still, there have been those moments were I can make my tank work on this map.

The "trap" on this maps is of course that road by the lake. Almost nothing makes it through there, and if you do get through, the match is basically decided by one of the sides - either than pass or the town. You need somone spotting there, of course, because there are always a few people who pray for the day there are no enemies on that road ( like 1 in 50 matches ) and always go there to die. On the second map, same thing. Largely immaterial to the match and picked off one by one. Even the person being shown in the match fell for it in the end. Went down the road, never made it out.

I've attempted to reach the magic bush in the first game, but be warned, a lot of players know it and either try to intercept lights as they try to reach the bush, or blind shoot it. Great if you have a muppet enemy, but it is a gamble! At the other end of the map most light players, like me, tend to go to the lake shoreline bushes, only to be crowded out by TD's, or the one near the house at the edge of the town, which is safer. You would need a fast tank and some luck to get to the bush in the second game.

CVS is largely moot on this map. What does wreck enemies, though, is the radio and all the mods to increase spotting time. Everyone either has it hard-wired to shoot, retreat, and come back to the bush they were in about 8 seconds later, or has a mod that counts down for them installed. (ie - when and I am no longer spotted) Being spotted 6 extra seconds is hilarious as they take a pile of extra damage as they are never UN-spotted. They shoot, are spotted, move back again, get hit again, (counter resets) retreat confused, and are still spotted for another 14 or so seconds. It's such a powerful spotting tool on maps where you have these magic bushes. It's even more broken on a map like Prokhorovka. You spot the enemy scout zooming around and everyone watches and is locked onto them the entire time until they poke again. HOW was I immediately spotted? The game must be rigged! Lol.

I’m trying to figure out the slots. I don’t have the cash to get the commander vision system but I did have enough for a muffler. I replaced the gun ramming to maximize scouting and it did not increase my concealment rating one bit. I do see the notice about placing the proper type of mechanics in their respective slots to get the maximum effect, where the first slot is for mobile mechanics. I’m confused completely now.

CVS is especially good against TDs that have a big disparity between stationary camo and on the move camo. Some TD with 40% camo behind a 50% bush can be impossible to detect unless you proxy him. But if he flinches, his on the move camo rating is used so lets say 20% and the bush 50% thats 70% and CVS cuts that by 32.5%.

Thanks Claus these videos are a real eye opener for me as a so so player whose default tanks are Heavies. I always cures when I play my light tank and get Himmelsdorf. Normally I go to the rail yard and peek around the building in 1 or 2 line. Is that smart play for spotting? Would like to see a video on Himmelsdorf. Thanks

What if an enemy tank moves a little while sitting behind foliage? Does he lose 25% of concealment if you have commanders vision system, and 30% if it’s in the bonus slot? Tanks, especially turretless TDs, often move around a little when camping behind bushes and trees.

Live oak: I know there's a lot of potential, but I struggle a lot for some reason. Serene Coast: Honestly don't know how to play this. Mannerheim Line also no idea how to play it.

Serene Coast I spot from the water side where it's usually heavies and TDs. Crossing the tracks and going to the mid can be dangerous because of numerous angles the enemy can shoot you from. I recommend watching a vid for Mannerheim line. All maps except for true city maps without bushes or trees have places to spot from.

@@weevilunderwood149 on that east side by the water there is a large rock (South spawn) and a small rock (North spawn) that each have a bush next to them. If you're counter spotted you can still pull behind cover until your unspotted, esp on the south spawn.

Need a Video on UDES and Borrasque (spelling ? ) Trying to use speed to rush into spotting positions, which either ruins the games for Spotters or mainly ends with a loss. I dont use any of these bushes on Lakeville (admittedly i am no unicum, but mainly a light tank player). They are both very much do or die positions. Great games, or shit games. You will hardly ever have a late game in case the game turns against you or you get outspotted, because you cant escape. From the south i use the G7 bush directly at the waterfront. It is larger, you dont get spotted from the city, and noone assumes you are there. So you usually dont get blindfired, unless you have a very knowledgeable opponent with lots of ammo. The north has a clear disadvantage here. Not only are there not multiple advanced bushes, but only the one behind the rock. So you get blindfired a lot when in there. And it is very bad in case south takes city, which has become kind of meta. Therefore i usually spot from the city.

Lately my 6th sense doesn't even go off... I get spotted I wait for like 20 sec behind a building than I roll behind a bush en there are no enemy's in a 300m radius and I only have the tip of the tank behind the Bush and the rest is behind the bulding and the like 5 people shoot all at once... For me WOT is broken en they never gonna fix it... Not all the days tho some days are Much worse than other. Like yesterday 22 games 2 wins 20 losses and normally I'm. Around the 50 to 60% wins. Delete is on its way.

I've played all tank types and arty and IMO light tanks require the MOST skill, map knowledge and nerve to play. Most battles you're not hiding in a bush 90% of the time. Yes passive spotting can be very effective, but you need to know where to move and when to do it. When to press forward, fall back or flank the enemy. Weaker guns with lower pen require knowledge of weak points in armor. Unless you're on a true all city map like Himmelsdorf, a light tank is the most dangerous and important tank left once you get half way through. Especially if you're the only light tank left in the game.

Ordinary promotion from WOT tips !! (Haha 10000 revelation) you don't get 1/4th of what you see here in real game!!! These bastards have a modified mod for promotions to see they are still in the top ranks, what he shoots is a hit!! if a tank hits him.. then a rebound... I guarantee that you won't have it that way!! and it will be the opposite on mil. % and besides... don't buy premium or premium tanks!!! it's useless anyway, the server determines the damage,,..determines victory and defeat .. If you upload min Damage to the opponent, the server will automatically flip and give Victory/ if High damage to the opponent - it is automatically Defeat.. You have a tank of 8 levels and you are approximately at the bottom of the team or on the bottom team composition, stacked from level 10 = It's automatically a win because you have no chance to shoot down Level 10 that is: min. damage = victory.!!! If you are on the highest rungs in the lineup, e.g. team level 8 to level 6 , Automatically = high damage to the opponent and you automatically = Defeat!! Server. BLOCKS....visibility, enemy detections, opponent damage, you can just do whatever you want :D !! it's wasted money!! You actually have more losses than wins in the game!! Ask yourself another question.. how many times have you recorded what you see here? (it's easy to play if you're an admin with a good game mode!), and this thieving company gives replays like this every day ... they're just lying to you and fooling you it's a great game, waiting for you to adjust the game mode to the minimum so that you can put real money into it!! Also note that they offer only premium or 10 level tanks, where you have huge losses in the game even during premium, especially if you use gold-i (premium cartridges)!!! , for 1 battle minus up to 8-20,000 cash... if not more... wt.
