Sick! This is awesome! 🎉 Must have been quite a large file size for this one! 😂 24min in and really cool to see all the other skaters and their gear. Nice to have those location headings too as you guys move through the city 😎

Final output file was just above 40gigs. It depends on the quality settings you use. I normally use the higher settings compared to most people. (40 gigs is actually small for me, I was expecting over 200gigs for the final size.) Original file sizes were around 120gigs. The Friday Night skate I believe had the most skaters out of the whole weekend. It looks like there might be about 50 people on this current session in the video, the night session had about 100 I would guess. I don't think anyone actually counted. This one had quite a few known skaters in it. ReRolling, Daniel Torres, CursiveMoves and several others. It took me 3-4 hours editing the final video yesterday to add all those street headings. (Not counting the original 360 keyframing.) It was more work than I was originally thinking it would be but it did end up looking rather nice. I have never seen a video with the streets like that, not saying nobody has ever done it before. I thought it would be cool to see where we actually were going through the city. There is also a link to a gps map in the description that shows the route.

It's always so much fun skating in a large group setting like this. This event in the video was from the end of June. I just got back from the SK8Boston event over the weekend. There were even more skaters in the Boston event. I recorded the whole Boston event as well and will be posting videos for that as well once I am done editing all the footage from the Philly event.

Epic saves with the asphalt stuck in your wheels. 🙌
@RISk8ers3 ай бұрын
Yeah no idea how I didn't fall during that. All 4 of my wheels on that foot kept locking up. The asphalt there was weird. It was only like 86 outside that day and it was like play-dough. Over here it could be 100 outside and the asphalt wouldn't be that bad. Least watching this you have an idea of what to expect for next year. The Saturday daytime session was in 2 parts. 1 part with the whole group and then we split and did 1 part that had a lot of hills and went through a cemetery. After the cemetery we regrouped with the main group. I recorded the cemetery section as well... if you watch that video when I upload it that was the most advanced section of the whole weekend. I will probably upload the saturday session 1 day this coming week hopefully.

Nice editing work! I used to jog to Art Museum when I lived in center city many years ago. I like the female skater golden helmet. That looks cool. I walked in that area a lot, but never skated there. It's on my bucket list of places to skate.

You should attend next years event. Least you can see exactly what to expect as far as skating conditions. This was the entire session in the video from start to finish. I still have to edit the Friday Night, Saturday Morning, and Sunday Morning sessions.
