@@evosana Too hot for my liking (around 40c at the time), I ended up spending a lot of time swimming because of it. Went to different islands to get to less crowded beaches, had a great time there. Very beautiful nature. If I visit Croatia again, I'll try to pick a cooler time and avoid the high season too.

You can officially say Central Europe instead- did u know btw that for example, capital city of Zagreb is more west than Vienna and more west than Stockholm!Just sayin’😉✌🏻🎉🎉☘️
@jj4774ns-te5px8 ай бұрын
Rome is even more western but it's not central Europe. We are southern Europe or south-eastern.
@TanjaVuPoems8 ай бұрын
@@jj4774ns-te5px well, check out wiki or official websites- they all say Central/SouthEast/North Mediterannean, I would definitely say just Central or just Mediterannean/South is enough, as unfortunately, people get confused whenever someone starts mentioning East! So why go with that narrative?! Especially as the fact is, we dont have anything to do with Eastern Europe, except for the fact that our languages have the same, Slavic roots! Everything else- history, culture, alphabet, religion etc. is totally more Central/West! Not that there is anything wrong with any Eastern country, but we are just not IT!
@TanjaVuPoems8 ай бұрын
@@jj4774ns-te5px one more thing- Slovenia presents itself as Central European country, and from my place of Birth in Zagreb to Slovenian border is literally 15 minutes by car (via Samobor)! So how come Slovenia is Central and Croatia Isn’t!?😉
@jj4774ns-te5px8 ай бұрын
@@TanjaVuPoems no, I agree, we're not eastern Europe by geography or culture etc, just it's not incorrect to say south-east, just like its not incorrect to say Spain is south-west. Eastern Europe in American terminology is how they classify everything eastern from Berlin wall, and that it was a communist country or satelite of Soviet Union + for whatever reason, Hungary (yeah it makes no sense). So, Czech Republic is eastern Europe, but Austria is not. It's the terminology coined for American publicity to help them understand where country stands in relation to US, it's from the time of cold war and they continued to use it.
@jj4774ns-te5px8 ай бұрын
@@TanjaVuPoems I'm from Zagreb too, Tanja Vu 😋 Well, Slovenian sea isn't very much of area is it? Our sea is WELL into submediterranean and Mediterranean climate, plus, as you noted, the influences of architecture and culture are obvious. Not everything is revolving around Zagreb :)). Zagreb may be it, but majority of the country isn't that much of representation of it in any sense.
