I have one of the moon valley? Pilea? and it is really an easy plant. Doesn't need much light and very tolerant of forgetful watering. I have moved mine many times and it is happy everywhere. Just water when the soil is dry and it flourishes. A very unrated plant. It makes me want to try another similiar one, but I didn't know what I was doing when I got it and just lucked out on how easy it is. Not sure about the others that look kinda like it. Very fun shopping with you. So different than from the states.

From what I know, many plants are grown here in the Netherlands! That's why they're cheap and available : they don't have to travel far ❤️

I just found an Epipremnum “Thai” smaller pointy leaved, vining, can’t find much info on it, anyone have any info?

I've never heard of that so I can't help! It sounds like a version of epipremnum pinnatum maybe?

Yes. De ficus lyrata weer proberen. Naja als je wil. Ik heb echt heel veel plezier van die can mij. Prachtige planten zijn het. Ik ben ook niet goed met Calathea. Maar... de stromanthe doet het goed hier, de warscewiczii ook en de ctenanthe burle marx. Oh en de white fusion heb ik ook nog niet dood. Dus maybe. Redden ze het bij jou ook. Denk dat de renovatie ook kan helpen in die richting. Anyhoo really shutting up now.

Helaas hebben ze weinig speciale soorten, zoals Begonia Thelmae, Selaginella soorten of Cissus Discolor (of Amazonica) . Staan nog op mijn lijstje. Wel hebben ze Marcgravia Sintenisii en Umbellata.

Zoals je het zegt klinkt het alsof je vooral terrarium plantjes zoekt? Ze hebben allerlei speciale kamerplanten, van Philodendron en Anthurium tot Alocasia en andere dingen 👌

@@plantwithroos klopt inderdaad. Ik woon (bijna naast) de Bosrand in Wassenaar, ben er al tig keer geweest maar heb nog nooit mooie terrarium soorten gezien, wel grote, eenzijdige planten. Weet jij heel toevallig misschien waar een tuincentrum is met terrariumsoorten?

Ik vind dat nogal bot eigenlijk, vooral voor dit tuincentrum wat vergeleken met alle andere tuincentra in Nederland een heel uitgebreid planten aanbod heeft en ook goede prijzen. En ik heb er veeel gezien (en gefilmd) de afgelopen jaren. Voor terrarium planten kun je beter naar een terrarium planten winkel, niet een tuincentrum. Bv webshop @ruperobe of @terrated.nl etc, of ga eens naar de reptielenbeurs in Houten.

@@plantwithroos prima tuincentrum, prima aanbod, kopen in bij Floraccess en verkopen het vervolgens voor 3x zoveel. Geen terrariumsoorten iig, maar daarvoor is terraria winkel een optie.

I feel like it’s rude of the nursery to sell things like pastel orchids, that are fed food colouring to produce those colours, or succulents that are painted. I was duped in the beginning that they were real That spikey leaved begonia sells for 65$ Canadian for a little three leaf plant here, impressive pricing there! There’s so much coming down in price I’m getting excited to get closer to my wish list plants!
