@plantwithroos2 күн бұрын
Well we didn't if you watched this video 😅 no they can come in from so many ways - they're outside in nature too in warm seasons so they can blow into your house, come in on bouquets of flowers or fruit or new plants. It's very hard to keep them fully gone. I use good bugs to treat them, which is not easy or quick. but it helps me to not stress about it and saves me a lot of work, as you don't have to spray or treat the plants 👌

Ah yeah I don't know if it is, for animals. I know people eat the bulb if prepared a certain way. I'm no expert in these so I can't tell you if removing them is the right choice. But cool that they grow on your land - of you want them fully gone it would be better to dig out the bulb otherwise it will come back every time 🙏🏻

Is that a puna bonnieae? Also is it grafted ? Cuz if it is I recommand you to try grafting it so it will "grow roots"(for me grafted cacti can be propagated only by grafting the pup otherwise it won't root) Hopefully this helps !💚

Yes! Do nothing for months until it’s completely dry! Once it looks shriveled, pop in on some soil and start to water! it’ll start taking up water and rooting from the little bumps (nipples) on the blob! Similar to how you root a prickly pear cactus pad!

I got an unrooted euphorbia blob. It did nothing for months. Asked the seller she said give it a spray. So covered it for a month or so and now it does not move and there is a tiny bit of growth. So may not happen fast. I did try 3 things before including balancing over water which seemed to work for a lot of people just not me. Good luck as that plant is stunning.

i heard they need quite a bit of warmth to start growing, that's why i usually put the pots with bulbs in front of the heater in spring, then when the first leaf opens i move them to a light source. i still rotted some bulbs tho so... it's not a cure all :) (tho my boyfriend switched off the heater very early this year, too early for my comfort and the plants i'm afraid!). i hope it grows well for you now, good luck!
