Amazing Polymer Clay Tutorial: Deserted Island Dish Tutorial

I was making this trinket dish for my Mother and so decided to record a tutorial while making it. It turned out really well.

Thank you for sharing and I love the colours you used. Can I ask please if you used any adhesive like liquid clay to attach the ring on the underside?

No. I just stuck the raw clay straight to the baked clay. You can use liquid clay if you'd like a really strong bond.

Dumb question, what kind of coating would I use if I wanted to use this as a cookie dish or a candy dish???

If the cookies\candies are coated and\or have a wrapping then you don't have to worry about a coating. However, if they aren't covered, I'd recommend making the bowl without mixed media -just clay- and not having a coating. I don't know of a coating for polymer clay that is food safe as of now.
