This is so beautiful! Love the technique! Do you think 2 part resin glue is better than any of the super glues? I found that what I thought was the strongest E6000 really does not work great. It will feel attached but if you pull hard enough will separate from the clay.

I’ve use e-6000 and it will pull off if there is a shiny surface, good to rough up the area before gluing. Two part glue seems best but I have had good luck with UV resin. There is a new bonding UV resin that sounds good.

I've had a more luck with the 2 part resin glue. It's stronger when it comes to bonding metal to the clay.

Could you add strip of the gold sheet over leaf impression insted of the whole peace since you sanded it off anyway. Just wondering why you covered it all .

Yes. You could do that. I was hoping for a different outcome on the piece and that required the whole piece of metal leaf. It didn't turn out and so I adapted and changed it up.

You can apply the metal leaf to only the leaf imprints. I was trying for a different outcome on the piece than what turned out.
