Thanks for Your support and Love.
The studs on your wheel hubs, along with the lug nuts, keep your wheels firmly attached to the wheel hubs and axles on all four corners of your vehicle. Wheel studs are nothing more than large bolts that are designed to fit securely into your wheel hubs.
Amazing Production of Wheel Studs | Complete Manufacturing Wheel Studs(Fasteners) | Make Nut Bolts
Wheel studs are the threaded fasteners that hold on the wheels of many automobiles. They are semi-permanently mounted directly to the vehicle hub, usually through the brake drum or brake disk. Lug nuts are fastened onto the wheel stud to secure the wheel. When a wheel is removed for tire changes etc., the stud remains in the hub.
The primary advantage of wheel studs over wheel bolts is greater ease for tire changes by creating the ability to lift both the wheel and tire onto the studs creating the ability to hold and locate the assembly during tire changes rather than trying to hold up the wheel and tire while lining up the holes to insert a bolt. Many wheels that use bolts also have one or more small locator pins to assist this: the wheel is lifted onto the pins, then the bolts inserted. Once the bolts are tightened and the wheel is fully installed, the pins have no further function whilst the vehicle is being driven.
Aftermarket wheel studs offer the ability to mount a wheel that is not factory supplied to that vehicle. Screw-in studs with a larger than original threaded diameter portion permit mounting of wheels with larger diameter holes. Wheel studs of longer length allow the use of wheel spacers to move a wheel further out to compensate for rubbing or backspacing issues, to make the wheel look like it is larger than factory standard, or to increase the track width of the car.

@@brad0656 Yes, my dad was a design engineer, but his office was linked to the factory that produced their product. There was a machine there that 'invited' frequent, dangerous intervention, and my dad designed a guard to go around it, that had a solenolid-operated latch that was powered from the machine itself, so the only way to open the guard was to switch the machine off first - but some guy managed to get his arm through the guard with the machine still running - and lost his hand. I heard of another factory worker - a friend of a friend who was turning one end of a long bar, which was sticking, unsupported, out the back of a lathe chuck. He was walking around the back when the bar whipped, and hit him on the top of his head, and split him down to his breast bone. Simple, common sense measures would have prevented that. I agree that factories are potentially dangerous places - but there are things that can be done to make them better, and the one in the video looks awfully sloppy to me - though, to be fair, although I have used factory machines from time to time, I have never been employed in a factory role, watched over by the unforgiving clock.

Preposterous. You call that amazing? Stick welding with no area flash burn protection, no eye protection, fourteen year olds running mills with no safety glasses- just one guy in the whole shop wearing protective eye wear- all in all, the only thing amazing is that those hundred year old machines are still going strong.
