Some tips for people watching this for a semi newbies guid on progressions. unless you have Rhino, do NOT use Sporelacer and Xoris in close proximity. you're going to be tossed around by their explosions.

PSF is 400 days of daily logins - 1 year 1 month 1 week. either that, or: (A) use regular Sure Footed + Fortitude, (B) pick Unairu and remember to transfer every few seconds.

@41:04 - Okay, so they _have_ swapped around that screen asset. I _distinctly_ remember Alad being scarred from post-Mutalist content in this quest when I first played it. Seems that DE has replaced those talk screens with his pre-Mutalist look; rendering Operation: Shadow Debt either non-canon or as taking place pre-Mutalist as well.

@DragonxFlutter It's hard to say. *_Gameplay wise,_* Patient Zero (and therefore the Suspicious Shipments, Operation Breeding Grounds, and the Mutalist Incursions) are after the Second Dream, being on the Pluto-Eris Junction, but *_the original canon_* was the other way around, with Tubemen of Regor being the bridging gap (him being infested, using Regor's research to find him a cure, hence why Alad knew anything about Hunhow being under Uranus, then striking a deal with Lotus, etc.). None of this makes Shadow Debts non-canon though. Shadow Debts was Alad cashing in the favour he earned from Second Dream, so either that's: "Infested > Second Dream > Shadow Debts" OR "Second Dream > Shadow Debts > Infested"

RE: Equinox, I agree that Dan probably has better things to be doing. I think the character of Dan would be focusing almost exclusively on things that actually get him closer to his goals.

The Deadlock Protocoll is sadly not a side-quest if you want to unlock Steel Path ... you need it done for EXACTLY ONE starchart mission that you cannot start without it (Entrati labs - Disruption)

Welcome Dan, to character creation :D. Once again, it is fun watching the new player experience in 2024 versus the experience I had as someone who 'grew up' with these updates as they happened. Particularly interested in the fact you can get a sporelacer kit gun *so* early. Dan's getting some major chops with the mushroom gun. Shame the sentient mobs have been a bit nerfed since second dream was new though, takes some of the sting out of fighting them as this semi boss like mob you really had to pay attention too back in the day. Also love how you wove your own narrative with the Dan-verse version of Warframe.

Deimos is my favorite open world because you can get most the resources without actually engaging in particular activities. Just hop into your Itzal, with max range mods and use the 3rd skill flying around the map. You get fish resources and ores without mining and fishing. Remember to have a booster on to make your time worthwhile

This is a super useful call-out. I don't enjoy the missions or constant attacks on Deimos, so having another way to gather resources is hugely welcome.

though playing warframe now has turned quite repetitive for me, this just reignites my love for the story and lore. i really enjoy this series and look forward to each episode with a smile on my face. the soundtrack for this game is beautiful aswel, always gives me goosebumps. Thanks Dan and ken for reminding me of my love for the game

Great progress! Shows how game is different for experienced player even when starting from zero. On the one hand, you know exactly what to do. On the other hand, you have very limited capacity and have to adapt for it. A cool challenge! 14:00 looks like it's not low FPS but some rounding error. Like there are whole numbers of degrees for rotation of those arms instead of floating point numbers. 14:11 ooh, is that a snake?

You pointed out the built lecta and my immediate thought was "that's no good, it only does 1d4 damage." Maybe I am sleepy. Then I watched you put mods on rhino, remembered that this is a Long Video, and paused to grab a cuppa. Time to get cosy! I never much got into clan stuff, so you having to deal with it all on your own is making me realise just how much there is in there that is just archaic and makes no sense. The clan key I at least remembered, but Reactors? Oracle to make an Orokin lab? Beyond me I don't think farming equinox just to flex would befit Dan, no. But I also think the main reason people complain and burn out over that grind is because they're trying to do it All At Once. I got my equinox over time by doing a couple runs every day I played and then did other things, and took no mental damage from the whole thing Yay for sporelacer! That scintillant hunt was painful Love the increasing zoom on Parvos as he's dragging Nef through the dirt and then "that must be a different son :)" Perfect! Stalker was supposed to be holding a severed head at the start of TSD but because he's a dad now, they had to make him child-friendly and took it away. Very sad Adding Dan's solitude to TSD Hurt. Being immersed in the story and then you adding that worked really well. Poor, poor Dan. I know Dan is a gimmick run, not all that much of a character, but as someone who does do a lot of story stuff with their own tenno (and co), I hurt for the little guy. 35:00 - Correct me if I'm wrong, but aren't Baro's weapon offerings 'grandfathered' weapons? Meaning, you can acquire them with direct grind, like with nemesis weapons or anything acquired directly from an alert/event reward, but they otherwise cannot be _traded to you_ or built if it's just a blueprint unless you meet the MR requirements?

I think it is just fine to get all of equinox. It’s just smart. I am only mr12 and I could have gotten further had I known early on to farm the extermination nodes for Warframes. By the way, loving this dan series! Its helpful to this mid level player

Dan already got Nyx when they didn't have to, so Equinox isn't necessary... ...but that kinda feels like the point now. Dan going out and doing the more complex farms to show how it be for the lonely tenno.

Since the end of the deadlock protocol, I did actually once to work with Granum rather than vehemently oppose him. I still don't see a specific reason why we have to be openly antagonistic, but I guess we do?

Hahaha, the damage changes seem to have nerfed the Sentients. I remember going up against them back in 2018 with a Sybaris and remember STRUGGLING to kill one. Later on I had a Tigris Prime kitted out to one tap 'em.

The trick to solo Interception is that (generally) the enemy will all rush to one point to try to capture it. Rush to cap all four points, then find out which point the enemy wants and then camp it while fighting them all off. If they switch to another point, chase them there. This gets easier the better your parkour skills get.

Honestly, the most egregious thing about Equinox IMO isn't even the farm, it's that the Aspects take 3 days to make, which means at bare minimum it takes just under a week to build her. So on top of the excessive farming, she takes twice as long to make just because DE was feeling quirky I guess. Sure, Mesa or Grendel might be more of a pain to do the farming for, but at least there isn't any extra waiting once everything is said and done.

the boss fight to get equinox is indeed not very hard. it is just annoying when you get everything 5 times before you get that 1 last item you need.

I've found that long damaging dots like a slash proc with status duration saves the trouble of having to re find the annoying minions.

I could be remembering wrong but I think they put mr requirements on either junctions or main quests, something required for actual progression

I’m 99% sure there are mastery locked Junctions and you cannot complete that challenge

@@willymcgoo4383 The junctions aren't locked by mastery anymore, so you could theoretically get to Mot at MR0, you'd just have to take some time out to build a weapon (It could be an MR0 one) for one of the junctions. However, there are some MR locked nodes meaning you can't get Steel Path unlocked at MR0. Ultimately an MR0 run is just tedious rather than a challenge.

While DE do not encourage multiple accounts, they are permitted so long as they do not interact in ANY way. No joining the same clan, same mission, same captura, or trading between them (including via friends etc). Interacting accounts owned by the same person can lead to sanctions on all involved accounts, including negative platinum or outright bans. Farming of daily tributes, DE gifts etc is also prohibited. Eg using multiple accounts to seek platinum discounts.
