I absolutely love Grand Design, and I love this unit. I love everything about this except for one thing. I wish there was room for a stand up stackable W/D. The way this closet works, you lose a lot of the space in order to use the W/D, but other than that, this is a winner in every way!

Nice review Matt and Will. I am a Grand Design travel trailer owner so I’m partial to the brand. Three things I dislike about this unit: 1. Furniture quality. The theater seats are great but the tri-fold sofas are not comfortable at all. They may be functional for extra sleeping space, but for sitting they fail big time. 2. Will called it. No 2nd a/c unit. At this price point, that should be standard. 3. Pin weight of 2,040 pounds puts this trailer at the edge of most 3/4 ton trucks. By the time you add supplies to the rig, extras stuff in the truck bed, people, dogs, etc. you’re probably over the payload rating for most trucks. Three things I love: 1. Goodyear Endurance tires and the Morryde suspension! Yes! 2. The Lippert solid step entry 3. The layout with outstanding storage space Nicely done Grand Design!

My wife and I have settled on this model for ourselves. Can't wait to see one at the dealer and pull her home.. Con: only one storage compartment outside (yes its big, but all items must go in there); no outside kitchen option; no generator prep Pros: I love a bed slider in any unit; more room around the dinning table than if it were in a slide; great conversation area AND it would involve those working in the kitchen area; LOVE the room around the stove

Matt, you can move the ottoman over to the table (below the window) and use the long cushion (use as back rest) from the couch to make a bench on one side. Use the chairs on the other side.

I would like to see the stove and the sink in opposite places - so the sink has a window and the stove isn't right by the chairs. The 2nd AC and a televator would be sweet. The best things are the living room layout, the space in the bathroom, and it looks like plenty of quality cabinetry.

The table is one of the things we love about this RV! The bench can be moved and you can’t rotate the table so you can face TV while eating!! Also love the Fridge is accessible when slide is closed, and the large storage! We are trying to decide between GD 340 or KZ Durango 326!!! I wish you would do a video on it and see the similarities!

Really like this 5th wheel. LIKES: 1. Floor Plan (all the rooms are great) 2. Interior Colors 3. Ottoman, Kitchen Table DISLIKES: or actually possible suggestions 1. TV (televator) 2. Blinds (preferred shades) 3. Stove Area (possibly install backsplash) The cabinets over the theater seats/table are too difficult to use/reach. Remove any carpet within the trailer. Overall, this trailer is really nice 👍.

Great presentation guys. Will is a real treasure to the team. The Furion kitchen is excellent. Decent shower and bathroom. But Will, where is my $ 86 dollar trash can? Bathroom is way better than the last couple you have shown. I seriously like this one. But the second air would be a must. I agree with your dislike on the cabinets above the Dinette and theater seats. It's not a Montana, but not a Montana price either.

Great unit! One of my fav. Layouts. One thing I would like to see different is a flat cook top ...or cover stove top for more usable countertop space. Sink is used too often to leave cover on all the time.

I have no dislikes. I want one! I think you missed some of the build quality features like R 40 roof, laminated slide sidewalls. The slides are so sturdy you can walk on the slide roof. Grand Design has a separate PDI department that goes through their trailers before they’re shipped. Grand Design seems to be serious about decreasing after sale warranty repairs. The number of grand design trailers I see out there is second to only Jayco. I think Grand design floor plans are second to none!

That cushion on the sofa you sat on is the backrest that hooks on the wall side of the table and the ottoman is the seat then you put the chair on the other side to seat 4 people .

That little bracket on the wall by the table holds that cushion that was on the sleeper sofa. Take the two upright chairs and put them on the kitchen side and the ottoman on the door side under the checkered cushion. I dislike that there’s no rear bumper, it makes one giant step to the bottom rung of the ladder. I like the versatile eating table, you can face the TV when eating & I love the kitchen layout and the washer-dryer prep. You don’t have to stack rhe washer-dryer (but you could, on the right/door side.)

Hey, whenever Will does the long test, he should review the comfort of the mattress like he did this time. So many RV mattresses are uncomfortable, but some are OK, it would be good to know which models have what. I like that there is enough countertop space in the bathroom to set down hair tools and cosmetics--so important (to me anyway).

We will "need" a washer and dryer in whatever unit we buy, but it is difficult to know how much room they take up in a closet like the 340RD. So, a request from us would be for you to make a video showing a rig with a closet like this one with a washer and dryer pair already installed. Likes: price, living room layout, and weight/ length. Dislikes: rotating table (we would prefer if it would drop down), limited kitchen counter space, and 2nd AC should be standard equipment in a 35+ foot long rig.

Love the design but would have love to see a second ac in the bedroom. In the heat of the summer having that comes in handy. I have a coachman Chaparral 5th wheel currently 2019 and it came with two ac's. I wouldn't buy any other 5th wheel if it doesn't have that. And perhaps prepped for side camera's too. Other than that I might have considered this trailer. And just so you are aware the Durango KZ fifth wheel does come with a similar layout and two ac's as part of its package.

Hey Matt new subscriber here. Love your vids. I have the 2019 Cougar 366 RDS. With the similarities the GD Reflection to ours it was easy to pick the dislikes. #1 must have 2nd AC. #2 no televator #3 didn’t like the 2 part drivers side storage door. Seemed cumbersome. For the likes the Furion appliances, counter space in bathroom, overall quality of GD. Thanks for sharing.

Love the videos! My only comment is if you could film the shower step in height when you showcase the bathroom. For some that is an important part of accessibility for those with limited mobility and most manufactures, RV sale centers, etc never really show a full profile picture to see the entire step in height.

In general, very well designed and executed. The kitchen design is terrific - the cooktop is centered with enough counter space on either side to allow you to really cook. But below the stove, the slideout is a couple inches above the central floor and I'd be bumping my toes and tripping. Don't like the carpet on the slideout under the sofa. The eating area should be part of the living area - it's just too cramped and there's really no place for anyone else to eat, and we'd take our 6 year old grandson on occasion.

I'm not a big fan of how neutral the colors are. Mainly the floors, chocolate cabinets can be very nice but the floors nearly look grey. I also wish a dishwasher was an option but otherwise I love everything about this 5th wheel!

I like the cabinetry/pantry. I like the counter space. I like the bedroom closet. I don't like the table/seating squished all up in the kitchen area. You'd have to tango to get past anyone working at the stove. I don't like the cabinets above the dining table. I don't like the floor plan. GD stuffed all that furniture into the unit, cutting off open flow from the dining/kitchen area into the living area. P.S. Get rid of the carpet. P.P.S. No standard aircon in the bedroom??? Sacrilege!

I dislike the kitchen table. I would rather have a built in counter with the 2 chairs facing the TV. Telavator in the bedroon. Propane tanks should have ventilation in case of leaks. Nice weight and pin weight. Lots of sitting room. It needs a convection microwave
