Great idea using UV resin to coat and suspend the flowers.

It may sound a bit (?) odd, but I've started using a hand massager-vibrator to remove bubbles. (Yes, one of THOSE.) I built a little bubble-packing holder to lay it in sideways, and just rest the um... active tip lightly against the current mold. Sometimes I simply leave the whole thing to lightly shake the table where I'm working for a few minutes. The vibrations really do seem to help speed the bubbles up through the resin, and it's not heating or doing anything else that would affect the chemical reaction. Works for two-part and UV resin. You might consider trying it.

If you take a piece of sandpaper grain 120-150 and grind the "pillars" a bit, just rough them a bit up, they will be much harder to see in the finished piece..

Great idea! Ive been having issues getting glass eyes to stick in my molds. The resin using the pipette should help as that would give me a "handle" on the back of the eyes! Thanks Steve!

Really cool! I love the idea of using the pipette to create a stable spacing post, wish I knew has this great tip a couple months ago when I tried to hang a seahorse in a sphere. Now I am excited to try putting a flower in a sphere using this technique😊. Thanks Steve!!!

Hi, I have a project I'm creating. I am placing multiple sweets (unwrapped) in a deep pour resin. Is it advisable to seal ( with UV resin) or is there some other sealer I can use to prevent bubbles forming on the sweets when I pour the 300-400 ml of resin into my moulds? Thanks in advance anyone who can help me. Good work Steve you are my go to channel re all things resin.

I subscribed.... now I have a question.. what 1to1 resin is the hardest ? Clear cast seems to be impressionable. Meaning if you leave something setting on it, it will leave a dent 😕

Steve that came out really well. I love that skull mould. Can you get the flowers to suspend if you pour the resin half way then stick the flowers with UV resin and then pour the rest of the resin? Or does that method produce a line in the resin where the two layers were poured?

The bubble streak didn't look too noticeable. I saw on another channel where they drilled a hole in the bubble (little bigger than the bubble) and then filled it with uv resin and topped it off with a layer to make it shine and you couldn't tell there was a hole/bubble.

Maybe use monofilament or fluorocarbon fishing line. It's clear should disappear in resin
