I've been following the whole Nintendo VS Pocketpair thing for a while now, and the problem is that while Nintendo have said they're suing for patent violations they haven't provided details (at least publicly) as to exactly which patents they're trying to defend. Speculation is that it's a combination of the capture mechanics being too similar to Legends: Arceus and the mountable pals being too similar to the Ride Pokémon. But the problem there is if you can trademark and patent game mechanics then that could open a flood gate of companies suing each other because of things like the "double jump" or "parkour movement". It also feels like Palworld is being targeted specifically by Nintendo in this, because there are literally dozens of other games that practically clone Pokémon gameplay beat-for-beat (like TemTem, for example) and Nintendo are perfectly happy to leave them alone.

With Throne & Liberty now coming out on Oct. 1st, next month is stacked to the ceiling with games for real. As for Palworld, I hope the situation gets worked out so that Palworld doesn't get shut down completely for us fans but I have a feeling it will in the end.

I’m not the kinda person who gets excited for a game just cuz it’s an rpg. There are a good amount of rpg’s that I love but a lot of em aren’t my cup of tea. But I gotta say I’m really excited for the new Dragon Age game! I’ve never been interested in Dragon Age games before but I’m definitely excited for this one! The graphics look amazing and the combat looks like so much fun! Will definitely be keeping my eye on it!

I already pre-ordered Veilguard. I've been looking forward to this for over 10 years, since DA2 I wanted an Action RPG DA. I thought about the PS5 Pro after the sticker shock and decided to get it. Monster Hunter Wilds is just around the corner and I want the best possible experience for it. I got a Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate New Nintendo 3DS even tho I already owned 2 3DS systems, one english and one japanese, just for the quick load times.

Preordered the Veilguard immediatly on steam. One of my favorite RPG series and i counting the days. My Solavellan heart need a closure (and steamy kiss scene between Solas and the Inquisitor). I totally agree with the dlc topics, sometimes i buy a game, and know that will be story dlcs, not after, but in the main story and my mood for the game is gone. I really recommend to you the Divinity Original Sin 2 game from Larian, i think its one of the best game ever made.

huge atelier fan here! I've played every single (english) release. I'm hoping with the success of Ryza, and the possible huge success of Yumia, that they will re-release the Japanese only games ( like they did with marie ) in english! Or remake it. I would settle for a english re-release though!

30fps looks and feels terrible compared to 60fps in action games. If the option is available, I always choose performance mode.

60 FPS is must in soulslike and other games with fast and difficult action combat. In these games 1 less frame can be game over. Othewise I really don't care.

I'm very excited for Metaphor! Loved Persona 5! Just a bit worried about the real-time combat, so looking forward to your review of it. Wildermyth looks great! Very excited for it. I miss my old tabletop RPG days. Hadn't heard of Flint before so looking forward to seeing more about it. Very excited for Romancing Saga 2. I've always wanted to get into this series so I think this'll be my entry point. I'm going to try out the demo soon. I just downloaded the demo for Card-en-Ciel. Looks intriguing. I only got a PS5 last year because it was impossible to get for years, so I won't be buying the Pro. It's too pricey and not enough of an upgrade. But then I also don't buy consoles when they first come out anyway. I've never been an early adopter of technology. I wait for the bugs and issues to get worked out first. Plus, I collect games so much that I'm usually busy buying up games for the current consoles that I don't have money for a new console that doesn't have many games to play on it.

Honestly, I have played Palworld and love it.There are plenty of pixel games with similarities and they don’t go after them. Nintendo is just butt hurt that someone made a better game and they will lose business. It will make them have to step up and do a better job on future Pokémon. I haven’t played Pokémon since their recent games that played worse than shovelware.

@MissBubbles knew it from day 1. It won't last long. Most of the fixes were from the community. A decade of development and still has issues. I'm the dev are accountants and not the ones who actually enjoy and test their games. Most indie games are a lot better than these triple A games.
