I'm a 100% turn based lover and usually avoid all action combat games. But the ability to hack and slash the easy enemies sounds so much more efficient and enjoyable! I freakin love this idea.

Dude wtf just get it, don't be picky, this is an 80+ hour long game with a lot of content that can keep u busy for a very long time, if they release another version u don't have to get it it completely optional and only get it if u love the game and u don't mind playing it again with all the new content cuz atlus in my opinion always makes it worth it to buy it again cuz they add tons of content that might just be a brand new game, p5 and p5R both are worth it to get and both are complete experiences, and p5R added so much to p5 that might just be it own game, so I am sure if they release another version it will probably be worth especially if u already love the game but if u don't, u don't have to buy the new Verison.

As fun as this looks, I have to start getting my backlog under control. There is also the worry that Atlus will release a better version later.... But I am glad the game is so enjoyable!

Comparing the game to Persona games can be misleading, mostly to new players like me. From my experience I hated Persona 5 Royale and then with the latest version of Persona 3, it was very boring to me, all the Japanese modern urban setting, the style of the game. So I feared I will also hate Metaphor. Yet I felled in love with Metaphor from the first moment, and still loving it and am addicted to it (I am at the beginning at 6 hours but I have constant wish to get back to the game). The fantasy setting is so much more appealing to me than the Urban Modern Japanese setting, and the fantasy characters are more "alive" to me than in Persona 5 or 3.

You don't like the setting, but the game mechanisms are the same. So personally, I think it's a good comparison.

Oh please! It not even that great. It still has the same bad combat as the Persona series. Play Trails or Dragonquest, much better!

@@MissBubbles Do you mean Trails? Cause the Tales game (JRPG action combat) is not for me, despite also having a good story. Metaphor is a good game, it just not Trails or DQ. Static turn-based combat is too boring for me.
