I'm a 3D printer and designer and a biker myself. It wouldn't be hard or cost any more to add an outer skin to these, but we have to remember that the more expensive 3D printed saddles are printed using a Nylon Resin, whereas these cheaper ones are printed on a filament printer with TPU filament plastic honeycomb. But it's definitely always worth testing these prints! I know for a fact it would cost more than 34p to print it! The price they charge is to pay for the maintenance of these Carbon model printers that are used in the dental industry more than anything! I am about to Order this saddle to test for myself as got abit of a sore with my new mimic power yesterday

Been using the saddle for a few months now, close to 1000 km and I am impressed with the quality. I chose the version without the carbon base because I generally find the saddles' extra stiffness uncomfortable. This is the most comfortable saddle I have owned to date. Took two or three rides to find the right position. Picking up on a couple of other posts. Delivery was 5 days and the tracking info was spot on. Original I ordered the saddle for a bit of fun because I specialise in 3D printing and was curious. The Ryet saddle I received is not printed on a cheap filament printer but rather a higher quality material similar to that used by the name brand 3D saddles.

I just bought one of these RYET 3D saddles (which arrived this afternoon, already installed), though a slightly different, possibly updated, model. I've been riding bare carbon saddles on my road bikes for many years without comfort issues, but I decided to give the 3D padding a shot. Will try to give a first impression report in a couple of weeks (once I've put a few hundred kilometres on it).

Well, for anyone considering this saddle, all I can say is that your mileage may vary. I also own this exact saddle and I put it on my gravel bike (which is ridden primarily on the road, with an occasional dirt road thrown in the mix). I also own the Fizik Vento Argo R1 Adaptive saddle which is on my road bike. There is no comparison. The Fizik is much, much, MUCH more comfortable for me. The big difference is in the thickness of the 3D printed material. The Fizik is about twice as thick in the area where I sit, and the material is a bit firmer as well. The Ryet is comparatively thin and when I am sitting on the saddle I can easily feel the stiff carbon shell hitting my sit bones. For reference, I am 6' tall (184cm) and I weigh 176lb (80kg). In fact, I just ordered another Fizik (the R3) for my gravel bike. I don't regret trying the Ryet, it was inexpensive and it is well made, but it wasn't for me. I would say that if you weigh 150lb or less, then this might be a great lightweight saddle for you, but at my weight it just didn't provide enough cushion.

Same experience with Ryet vs my Specialized 3d printed saddle. The Ryet is good compared to similarly priced saddles, but if you try one to see what the hype is about 3d printed saddles, you're not going to know what the good ones are like.

Talking of saddles, I bought new one for my road bike a few months ago. My old saddle had a few strips of gaffer tape to make it rideable. I still haven’t put on the new saddle. The old one is still holding up pretty well! The road bike spends most of its time on an ergo trainer so I won’t get embarrassed by appearing in public with the old saddle.

On the topic of Aliexpress gems there's an exceptional bike light called Towild BR800. They've used high CR led, instead of normal blue ish mess. So the light it emits looks way more natural and pleasant. It was just $11 and imo is better than my Fenix light that cost me around 80. 2 months ago, I watched a similar review of a 3d printed saddle on aliexpress by the yt channel "everything's been done" who praised that saddle model similarly as you did with this one. So I obviously ordered it, but the second i sat down on my bike it was incredibly hurtful. Upon closer inspection, I noticed the edge around the middle cutout was raised about 1mm on the saddle I recieved, and that edge was stone hard unlike the rest of the material and cut into my bones. So it seems at least some aliexpress sellers might have multiple production lines with massivly varying quality and just aren't as reliable as official brands. I have to say though the return worked perfeclty although I even scratched the saddle, which made this aliexpress experience way less frustrating.

I bought one. Great saddle. As to their return policy, they generally will credit you for the amount spent and you wouldn't have to return the product. If you do want to return the product, then they have it collected free of charge and they refund your money. It's a win, win, win situation. You can't loose. Some of the items don't have the same level of quality, then just rate it on the site that way and get a refund as a credit or money in your account. You can't beat it.

I had a very strange experience with this saddle. For the first two rides, it was one of the most comfortable saddles I have ever used. I believe that they would all be more or less identical and so then it comes to two things; price and who has a decent return policy. Price is an easy one to work out but as for returns, if you have a quick scroll through the comments, there is one where the commentor says what a great returns experience they had. Ask them, specifically which one they purchased.

I bought a Ryet for my Spin Bike as the Fizik Arione I had was not super comfortable. For me I can’t say it works that well. The edges next to the pressure relief channel create some discomfort. Also I can’t say I like the way you are kind of stuck in one position without the ability to slide back and forth. I am going to persevere for a while as it can take time to adjust I guess. Also stationary cycling is infamous for being less comfortable. Quality wise it looks brilliantly made. Anyway just my opinion.

I think that I mention in a previous video that they all seem to use the same pattern. I like to answer people's comments, but I am not really sure what you are saying. Virtual market places rely on people adding reviews, they do not product test. If an item sells poorly or gets negative reviews, they will not restock it. I think I have said that on a video before as well. Other viewers of mine have also said how easy they have found it to return items they are dissatisfied with.
