The coconuts were just mature and, as such, will not have as much water. You can tell by the dark color of the nut and thickness of the meat. They have big and small coconuts as well; It just depends on the variety. In Jamaica, we probably wouldn't have that sold coconut as 1st choice, but I find that in other countries like DR and Mexico, they often serve the older coconuts.

A great all inclusive rate with four kids is from 200 USA to 300 USA per night with 4 people,I adult and 3 kids It cost about 150 USA to feed one child for a week, the least on poverty wages So if you can get room and food for 200 USA per day,in paradise,it's a great deal, jump on it Every now and then you see these great rates and you jump on it fast

I had a job for almost two decades and I couldn't get 3 weeks off to visit my family in Jamaica, two weeks in Jamaica is not long enough,so I know a lot of Jamaicans want to go home to visit but the slave masters just don't give many workers more than two weeks off the plantation and quiting and finding another job is not as easy❤❤❤❤😅😅😅

While there try yo visit San Pedro de Macorís where many Kittitians,Antiguans and Jamaicans and other islanders used to live as they went there to cut cane many years ago.Try visit Santiago as well the second or next city via the Altagracia Highway a Saturday very early is fine you can stay over night if you wish or at least 2 -3 days. There is also San Cristóbal and another area I cant recall at this moment where many have settled from other parts of the Caribbean or inhabitants of these regions have settled in our islands. Some state they are our relatives.I have met many in San Pedro de Marcoris where two of my uncles migrated so I was able to meet cousins in dozens. We even met a 90 year old resident from the islandbof SKN and a street that was never paved that lead to the port where workers disembarked on arrival to the island. Thanks for the info, insights, warning etc.The money tends to flutuates there so often just like in Venezuela and Mexico and many other CV ountries.

I don't know how people live off 300 USA per day at Jamaica ATM,I tried it once, every other day I was at the ATM it's better to do all inclusive with children because they're free when include in the reservation, and seeing all this food at the resort make me feel full all the time and ai even loose weight because I eat the salads and fruits mostly It's cheaper to do all inclusive with children because food is very expensive in Jamaica unless you can cook for your family

I absolutely cannot stand when Uber drivers in DR do this. They did this to be in Punta Cana for a $18 drive and had the nerve to give me his # for the return trip! Hell no. MY trip was like 15 minutes. Uber should pull its services and DR use the taxi system of course these drivers will not get as many rides as they do with Uber because hotels already don't let Uber in to pick up guests. They are only making things bad for themselves. MY driving ended the ride when we drove off the resort thinking I wouldn't understand, tourists are now aware. What's funny is the ride was $18 and I told him $20. I know cash is cash but stop using the service and let hotels dispatch their taxis and independent Uber drivers will be starved.

man my brother, boca chica has a sub-cuplture that I don't like, once the locals realize you are a foreigner they want to take adventage of you of overpricing you from everything, that is why when I go to DR I always have my car rental at hand not to rely on taxis and ubers that I can drive whereever I want, yeah everybody at all level of services, once they realize you're tourist from USA,CANADA,EUROPE ECT,they're trying their best to scam you.
