Ya bud! Good stuff! Thanks for the video! You should get yourself one of those small tractor jobs and film yourself doin it! Couple of gopros on the tractor and one a tripod some ways away. That'd be awesome to watch bud and you'd double your income doin it!

After watching all the Montreal videos, these Ottawa crews look like rookies. No high sides on the trucks. No guards walking to protect pedestrians. Grader spent more time in this short block than they do on an entire street in Montreal. They need to watch KZbin for some education. But great job with the videography. Really enjoyed the video. Thanks for sharing

Thanks … It’s not law here they don’t need guards to protect anyone.. these guys have been doing it for years and years it’s no different then Montreal 😂

The blower is doing a great job

Seriously, I lost count of how many times that grader went around just smearing the snow all over the street. A decade ago, my city did push the snow pile in the middle of the street before blowing it into a truck, but they no longer do that. Nowadays, they just compress the snow pile on the side of the street systematically after every snow fall, and when it is big enough, they run the snow blower through it. It is so much more efficient. There's almost nothing left when they are done, and the job gets done much faster. Pushing the snow around that many times also leaves a thin sheet of ice on the road. Also, seriously, what is up with that street. It might as well have been designed for a southern climate. There is way too many obstacles all over the place. My city has a series of concrete planters. During summer, they are used to protect pedestrians. Before the first snow, they move them out of the way. Heck, you can see that some of those posts are damaged and you can see one of them get twisted as they remove that big blob of snow that was stuck to the ground. Does no one consult the peoples who have to maintain the roads when they build them?

Great job😄 you're doing at the winter service, the residents could have at least brought out a coffee as a thank you and since you can warm yourself up again with a hot drink, you're also clearing away the masses of snow in front of their doors and streets so that they can park again in front of the housewashhands👍💅 Some drivers are stupid as hell, they see that this is not the case when snow is being frozen, but they still drive up the road

I wonder why the dump trucks don't have tall boards on the side of the back box to contain more snow. In Québec, all the trucks are equipped with those tall boards and trucks can carry larger loads of snow. Is there a by-law keeping them form adding those boards up? I wonder..
