Nope 2 strokes are supposed to be revved out to high rpms most of the time, because they have a very short torque curve. He actually knows what he is doing, most people engine brake the shit out of 2 strokes.

Neptonic 101 Depends on the displacement. A 125, no. A 250, better but it still makes less than 450s. A 500cc or bigger, yes. A Maico 620 and 700, now that’s just overkill. A Maico 700 makes nearly two times as much hp as a 250 four stroke. lol
