The spider man isaues from issue 70 to the 120s are classics. Great stories and beautiful art

I actually quite surprised at how much these stories not only keep my attention but also keep my angst and apprehension for the characters at a peak. I didn’t think these stories would be as good as they are. I didn’t think they would be so readable. I’ve read Golden Age DC (Batman, Superman) and they are fun to read. But I can only read an issue at a time. They don’t build your interest. But these old Spidey stories really do keep you needing to read on. It’s kind of amazing what Stan Lee and John Romita Sr. were able to do here. So highly recommended because they are great for the collection as a Spider-Man fan, but they are also great as comics to read and enjoy the stories and art. So good.

I can honestly say silver age and bronze age Spidey as a whole, all those years of comics right from Amazing Fantasy #15, are some of my very favourite comics. A rare series that started out really good right from the very beginning, so I totally get you on this!

Great videos sir ,as a digital only person ,you've sold me on buying these omnibus ,this was the greatest run of comics ever for my money ,followed closely by fantastic four and thor ...all highly highly recommended

@@TheComicBookTrove ha ha ,it's not a financial concern, recently stopped buying modern stuff ,would rather spend my money on omnibus and hardcover...just pre ordered uncanny x men volume 1 and 2 ...never really tried them but your videos sold me on them ...they look like a damn good read

Definitely great choices with the Uncanny books! If you've seen my videos on those already I'm sure it's apparent I'm a big X-Men fan so they'll always get a thumbs up from me, and Chris Claremont's whole run is some of my absolute favourite stuff generally

As a new collector of ASM in the mid to late-1980s, I managed to grab quite a few of the issues collected in Vol.3. Not mint condition copies but good enough for me and they were quite cheap. I wonder what the market is like nowadays for the originals. Anyway, the Omni 3 reprint will be released in November 2021, and I'll be grabbing it as missed the previous print(s).
