I used to see him lecturing at our local farmer’s market in the early 1970’s. He lectured about health and would drive nails through boards. I found out many years later about his distinguished past!

Met Joe in Reading Pa 1963 knew him till his death learned the use of mind power from him he was for real and a great guy the just don't make men like that any more.

I have a neigbour who used to say "mind over matter" when talking about his feats of strength. A skinny tall guy. You would not think he is strong to look at but I witnessed him rip a door off a van one day, I could not believe it! It seemed un-human it was nuts. Did Joe talk to you about this mind over matter business is there a secret to strength that we do not know but him and my neighbour do?

My coach pulled aeroplane using hair ..he was 60 year old when he pulled 62 ton .same thing he said to me u gotta believe yourself and keep training power comes from within ..he never train weights

Is that him really old at the 2:31 mark pulling a vehicle. If he died in 1977, then why is his audience mostly holding cell phones recording him? They didn't have cell phones back then.

The guy on the picture pulling a car with his teeth is actually his son. You can watch him at America's got talent, doing this at age 93.

I wondered about that, too. One story is that Greenstein didn't want to press charges, but this felony wouldn't need his approval. So, who knows?

I found this video. It's interesting but may mythologize some events in his early life. Pound for pound, the Mighty Atom may be the strongest man on record before the anabolic steroid era.
