I still remember my first The Long Dark run on survival mode, a while back now. Watching this brings me back. Everyone who is a fan of survival games have to try this at least once. The game may look bland at first look. But when you play for yourself the game have this «low-key tension» in the air, helped by sneaky wolves and even more sneaky bears. You owe it to yourself to try this survival experience!

@@XxTheGoOfYxX what reviews?! 😐 I've been playing it since early access days, devs constantly update it and make it better, it has singleplayer story, different mods etc, the map is huge, the game creates so many funny and dangerous situations, I remember running out of matches in caves, so I nearly died of starvation in pitch black nowhere...)

I love this game so much, been playing it for years. But I've lost the feeling of playing it for the first time. Now that I know the map by memory and know how to survive, I don't have the stress of surviving as much as new players. But when I first started playing, it ended poorly lol. I was on the coastal highway map, and got caught in a blizzard, out on the ice, and still had to dodge wolves. I wound up going in circles and freezing to death.

Takes me back to my early days with this game. Enjoy it while you're still new to it, my dude, it truly is a unique experience. Now that I became good at it... it's still fun alright, but not the same as it used to be. I say, being a noob at some game is the most beautiful experience you can imagine.

You can get a mod that allows you to play multiplayer for PC. It is unstable but it works. I can shoot you a link to the Discord where you can download the mod.

For a first time stalker run, you did plenty better than I ever could have. Hope you give this game some more shots. I’ve played for a for a about 150 hours or so and I can confirm it is a damn good game, with a great fan base and a better dev than many of the other games I’ve seen like it. Give it a go on voyageur, it’s plenty fun.

Beyond me how hands down one of the best games out there has no multiplayer. Think about how old the game is. They could've had more than enough time to make a multiplayer mode OR release a sequel and just cash in HARD.

There is a mod that allows you to play Multiplayer though it is unstable.As for the devs, they may have been able to create their own multiplayer but it was not in their vision of what they wanted the game to be. You're supposed to be alone. That is, in fact, true survival.
