I'm a little late to this today. Had a busy day filming, Sorry! OmG I hope Note is ok! that knock on the head can be quite brutal! and it was so loud! lol I always wonder if i should stay at Surathani, for few days during my trip. Now I know that It's pretty awesome to spend a night or 2. It's lovely at night! You better stick to that Wuwuwuwu-WOW!!! When we travel it's hard to take in some of these more unfamiliar foods due to fear. Intestines, nope, despite the fact that we have eaten sausage casing. Ya, it makes no sense, right? Clams, oysters and crab are all foreign to our prairie Canadian upbringing in Saskatoon. Even shrimp with the heads still attached is so unseen here in our part of Canada. The one thing that we do love, and had never tasted until we traveled to the Philippines in 20111 was MANGO! The fact you were selling mango sticky rice, one of our favourites in Calgary brought smiles to our face. One other thing, too bad there isn't an alternative to all those plastic bags being used for serving food. Wo wo wo wo wow, great show. Mark Wiens ain't got nothing on you! ❤️

We totally understand! We also have the same fear trying unfamiliar foods in countries we don’t know much about. But it’s good to keep an open mind (and palate!) because sometimes it’s worth the risk 😂

Note.. Mark wein roll his eye that is his trade mark. It's over used. Flora...in Malaysia.. the Chinese. Cusine is better as they r a mix of Cantonese,hainese, teochew, foochow. Blended to the local taste but. Not to say Hong Kong food is tasteless but mild.. what u r tasting in Surat Thani is a mix of Chinese n Thai...as there r a big community of Chinese... enjoy it.. it's different... take care n happy travelling.. Food prices are still good in Thailand. In Canada we sell mango sticky rice our price is 260 baht = $10.00 Canadian.
