Hi there, Long McArthur gave you props on their live feed tonight. Suggested you are a great resource for Canadian Ford questions. The question that was asked was….. is the Canadian system the same as the US system for allocations and orders, scheduling etc…. This is of interest to me because I ordered a Ranger with a 2.7 from my dealer in Alberta about June 11 and they have no news or information for me. It seems to me that if the CDN system was the same as the US, they would know if they have an allocation and would have a VIN or a schedule by now. I understand the 2.7 is exhausted now so I’m wondering if I should just ask for my deposit back from the dealer and… should I trust them if I decide to order a 2025. In this era, the kind of crap a customer has to go through to order a car is just unacceptable. Cheers

Howdy Mike. All 2.7l risk being a little delayed. The dealers here in Canada have allocations and they are generally low in number for the Ramger. I'd say expect a 4 to 12 month wait and they will only have official news once you get given a date so I'd say of all goes well maybe some news in September or October.

How does the Ranger ride compared to the F150, like taking the bumps etc, is it comparable to the kinda magic carpet ride of the F150, as i am at a cross roads between the 2

The Ranger use to be a lot stiffer and now the new gen. Is much closer to a F150 ride. Not as good but a lot closer than before

@@Johnnyscarcarereviews Thank you sir, could not find any review that gave thoughts on this, reason was I was looking at either and the price jump is minimal, love the Ranger look and size, and seen the fun to modify it, but at the same time interior compared to the F150 for space is hard to ignore, and with a 5-10k jump to get an F150 wanted to see if that was justified. with the last part being the ride, as cannot find many Rangers in my area that are available to drive (was looking for a 2.7 as they are just arriving). Comparing a 3.5 v6 to a 4 banger is not fair lol.

Do you know if it is possible to do aftermarket sunroof? I guess there is no sunroof option available from factory.

2.7 if they came with a 6 foot bed! Heck, these beds are actually LESS than a true 5 feet!

There is not a high demand for a 6ft bed in a midsize. Most people do not even use all of the payload
