Came to watch your videos from the collab with Lau 😃 Just moved to Switzerland looking for good fleamarkets and thriftstores around Zurich. Maybe someone has any suggestions on where to go? 😃

So cool ☺️ and congrats to move to switzerland 🇨🇭☺️ There are actually 2 fleamarkets taking place in zurich every saturday from mai-september or october :) One is at the Bürkliplatz and one is called Flohmarkt Kanzlei and there is a Thriftstore in Zurich as well. Thrift stores are called Brockis in Switzerland :) But the best just google and it will show what happens near your location ☺️

Can you please tell me how you research the dolls you’re interested in? Is it a particular website you use or a book? The only Barbies I know how to identify are the dolls from the late 70s until about 1981 or 1982. Then to me they all look alike after 1982. I see so many Barbies in my local thrift stores but I pass on most of them because I don’t know who they are. 🤷♀️ P.S. I was also wondering how you identify the Barbie clothes? 😊

I do research in different ways. For example outfits and really remarkable eye makeup of the dolls I use google lense. If that does not help then I use for the dolls the website fashiondollz.de they have a headmold galary so you can search for the heads. And for dolls and fashions I use barbieworld.it (they have more the european dolls) but fashions they havw a big database :) And if then still can't find what ans who I have in front of me then I ask on facebook. There is a groupe called ID my Barbie and other Fashion dolls. They helped me a lot as well. BUT it is also the more I researched and found out the more I learnd and so your knowledge will grow step by step. I had to learn also the hard way. In the begins I bought dolls surely overprices because I had no idea who they are and trusted the sellers. But with the years you learn more and so a lot of dolls I can recognize imediatly and stull some I can not. For example I have a minimum knowledge about the 60-70's dolls and fashions but more the 80-90's. It also depends what era you want to collect the most ☺️
