Love your stories. Do you have any stories from Ontario, Canada? There are lots of Gold Mines in Northern Ontario but I am interested in finding out about mines in Southern Ontario.

Unfortunately, I have not found any photos of Old Sherburne. This is a photo of a man from the same period wearing the fur cloths that Sherburne would have made himself. One of the drawbacks of these old stories is that there are very few photos of the people. I can usually find photos of the places, but the people are typically hard to find. I use photos of people from the same period wearing the same dress to show how they would have looked at the time.

@@HiddenTreasuresMysteries thanks! The historical society is only open tues& thurs for research. Was hoping to give them some references so they can have the pertinent stuff pulled out for me. Hoping they’ll have old maps to look at.

Mr sure been, simply transcended the wealthy and heritage and he went back and built a little mud hut with a sod roof and he lived off the land and made his own clothes. He would basically give his money away to other hard-working needy people. Nobody knew his past till he did indeed pass. Then the brother came from indiana, the Hoosier thinking that he's going to find some kind of boarded-up gold, what a silly fool! This man lived in wealth and Gold meant nothing to him but helping his neighbors! Let this be a lesson to all you treasure orders and hunters throughout history seeking after the loot of empire that has been amassed through bloodletting and tyranny and suffering, there are three treasures in this world while we are alive! Take note! There are the treasures of the body, there are the treasures of the storehouse, and there are the treasures of the heart! Listen well! Only! The treasures of the heart maybe carried with us throughout eternity! Tomorrow is promised to no one! It is the treasures of the heart, of the virtue compassion and giving, to those less fortunate. These treasures cannot be burned by fire! And cannot be washed away by water! These enduring treasures of the heart of The virtuous Acts and causes that we make in this brief lifetime, are enduring of the three existences of past, present and future! To recognize this is essential in our human revolution in the brief time we have in this world, for who would trade rice for Filth!? Who would trade rocks for gold!? Only the fool! Who thinks he may enrich himself in this temporal world by a violent act

Uhh..... That was a lot your stories are very evoking. Hey Mr storyteller, you're doing a great job man this is a very rare venue of an ancient tradition of storytelling and you site pretty good references and facts. Like others have said, your delivery is great! Your narrative has a continuity! Your appearance is not stentorian or overbearing, you are like an average man like us! And excited to tell this story! Good job man I like it, I guess my only tip would be, in your delivery of your narrative, take a deep breath and leave a pregnant pause at critical points and then look at the camera severely, and deliver your next line! Hey, I'm just a labor from northern Cali I don't know nothing about Hollywood but I think you got something good going on and I like your channel.
