Amazing traffic lights in Antalya, Turkey! 🚥🚦

In this video you can see one of the best traffic lights that I've seen in my life. I believe the seconds counter under the traffic lights should be used everywhere in the world, if it wasn't only for economy reasons. It saves fuel and a lot of vexation or even frustrations. This one is even better; I've never seen it before. The steel poles that hold the traffic light are containing the light colors as well. All LED lighting of course. Never bend forwards anymore, to see the traffic light when you are first in line, still able to see the light color if you're behind a bus or a truck that is in front of you. I LOVE IT!
I hope you do so as well and let's promote these kinds of traffic light if possible.

En este vídeo podéis ver uno de los mejores semáforos que he visto en mi vida. Creo que el contador de segundos debajo de los semáforos debería usarse en todo el mundo, si no fuera solo por razones económicas. Ahorra combustible y muchas molestias o incluso frustraciones. Besides the lighting pole gimmick, the system seems to be poorly designed, as the signals aren’t synchronized and have short light interruptions. The manufacturer is Ekaldes by the way (at least for the poles).

This is fantastic and makes driving more fun. I was in Turkey nearly two years ago. I didn't see the poles also change colour at the traffic lights, but I really liked the rich culture there though. It's a really interesting place!

These are simply PERILOUS traffic lights! 🚦⚠️ 😳; it's quite nice looking and kinda 'hi-tech' to have the countdown timer openly installed, predicting the duration of each of the programmed light phases, BUT! doesn't anyone else notice the way-too-short yellow/amber light-phase in use, in this traffic light set-up?!! 😨 Only 2 to 3 seconds(!) instead of the globally conventional 4 to 5 seconds- intermittent light phase set-up that out to be provided for the intermittent yellow/amber light phase! Sheer madness - down right ⚠️DANGEROUS⚠️!!! And Lord knows how the pedestrian control traffic lights circuit's been set up!?!🚸 Turkish civil engineers specialized in traffic systems obviously still have a LOT! to learn yet, obviously (in time management and 'steady flow- easy go' circulatory wave (pattern) systems! I'm truly glad that US/Californian traffic lights are installed and controled in a much safer, more logical and readily comprehendible fashion! 🇺🇸👍

The yellow light is mostly 3 seconds in most countries other than Turkey, it's not 4 seconds everywhere just because you live in California.

That traffic light also displays red and yellow (amber) together before green. It's like in the UK. Where the places in Turkey which has red and yellow together before green?

They're standardised across Turkey. Although I do miss British infrastructure.

What if any information do you have on these lighting systems? I'm a man of good wealth and would like to bring this to my town in Athens, GA. I know with information on these lights I have the power to do so. The iron carriers have a small notch over the entire length, that contain the led-lights, which are connected to the normal lights. A plastic cover protects it from rain. Visibility of the light is super great even when your standing behind a mini-van. I don't have names for you, sure you can find that out, or if you want me to do that,.. provide me a fee.
