I found it very sporting and honorable that Ayuso did not challenge Carlos Rodríguez for the stage when the Ineos rider contributed to the overall victory. Many crashes and abandonments occurred in this race but some very positive things also happened. In Roglič's second of three falls, the leaders decided to wait for him and when he arrived they did not shoot either. Then, on the day of the 11 falls, the cyclists agreed that the escapees would compete in the stage, although the fans and press gave their opinion on everything without having all the information. Then Sjkelmose did not want to wear the leader's shirt on the podium out of respect. The last two stages were very entertaining. In life as in sport, no one is superfluous and no one is missing. The negative thing is that the fall of the bosses went around the world and yesterday another 4 went down due to fall and it did not have the greatest relevance. Could it be that people are fans of cyclists and not cycling? The Cyclists Association will have to really get to work and discuss with the organizers, cyclists, sponsors, television about the large number of accidents and not start inventing chicanes where the majority of cyclists did not ask for them.

Nice comment. I believe we have many more crashes because of attacking style of riding. It's action from kilometer 0, risk is taken a lot more to structure style of Team Sky or US Postal...cool to watch though...

​@marijojuric all the attacking comes solely out of improved depth in cycling. It's a natural(outside of the rampant doping😂) result of people simply being better as a whole.

Was so disappointed and sad that the favorite 3 crashed out of the race (best wishes to all of them), but man the race actually got even more exciting cuz the scenario kind of opened up opportunities for others to shine. I'm particular happy for Carlos Rodriguez cus he crashed out so much and finally he got on the podium today! 👏

Sad to see what this race could have been, trying to be optimistic for the tour since if a miracle happens maybe we see Jonas at the tour which is unsure . Atleast Ayuso gets the win for spain and for Jai whom has the second most severe injury after Jonas. Thanks for the highlights
