In the beginning, this city included many rural houses and caravanserais. After expansion, Rabat Karim had 4 gates History of construction in Parand This city was expanded in the middle of the 80s and during the presidency of "Dr". Ahmadinejad under the name of Maskan Mehr.
The new city of Parand is located 30 kilometers away from the Tehran-Saveh highway and in the southwest of Tehran and near Imam Khomeini International Airport.
Parand, with an area of ​​more than 17,000 hectares, has 7 phases that have residential and industrial uses. Currently, a large population lives in this city, but the facilities and infrastructure are not the same in all parts of it.
According to experts, the reason for the reduction of facilities in some parts of the city is the sudden increase in the population of homeless people who were looking for cheap houses.
