I love all of your vlogs, but this one was really close to my heart. I love wine and I love vineyards. I've visited a number of them in France (the first time as a 17 year old with my French pen friend's family). You really captured the feel of the wineries and the differing character of the ones featured here. I love the look of the Bulgarian wine and will definitely be looking out for it. I tend to enjoy fuller bodied wines as most of what we eat at home is Indian cuisine so it is spicy! Many of your New Zealand wines are great for spicy food as are those from Australia and Chile. That spicy red you tried looked just the thing for me. Really feeling Bulgaria - it looks amazing.

Bulgaria keeps giving us its awesomeness 😍... The story how the winery started is super with the steel and all.The wine fountain sounds amazing too( am trying hard not to use the same words but everything is generally awesome.. love it) That food looks delicious 😋 and you guys left a wine tasting for lunch with a beer too 😂

See its tough to not use the same words you always would! This was possibly one of our greatest day trips to date :)

I get to drink Bulgarian wines in Oakland, California. I live near a natural wine bar, and there’s always at least 2 Bulgarian wines. You can also drink it from a traditional cup that’s made from cement. The traditional cement also has clay. Very interesting. Loving binging on all of you vlogs this weekend. 👍🏾👍🏾

Thats cool to know Bulgarian wine is getting some love overseas! We were naive to the fact that Bulgaria had such incredible wine before this tour

Bulgarian wine is one of the best in the world, the name BENDIDA is a name of old bulgarian godess of nature, also we are the inventors of Yogurt (Lactobacillus delbrueckii subsp. bulgaricus) can be found only here in its natural state, also 85% of world production of rose oil is made here ... well there are couple of hundreeds more things but i could speak for them a whole week if i start: :D

I really like all of these places! Bulgaria def has a big drinking culture. The wine is truly amazing but not everyone can afford it all year around.(but for holidays, it's a must👌👍) Many ppl's parents or granparents have gardens and fields. They grow all sorts of stuff but one thing every one of them has and that is.. GRAPES! LOL we live in a apartment.. no garden but we have a basement. What's there? 2 giant barrels of red wine, compot and rakiq of course.

Amazing vlog guys! I just couldn't decide on which video to comment on, but thank you for sharing your amazing experience. If you really want to come back, be sure to visit the Coast too (especially in the summer) - Varna, Burgas, Nessebar, Sunny Beach, Sveti Vlas (saint. Vlas), Sozopol, Balchik... you'll love it. Around BG, you can visit Veliko Turnovo (Tsarevets Fortress / Царевец), Pliska (the first capital of the Bulgarian Empire) and at Pliska there are two sites, one which is the city itself (with the big walls) and the second it's called "Дворът на Кирилицата / Yard of the Cyrillic" which is not far from the ancient city and contains a little bit of history including the bulgarian rulers throughout the bulgarian history. In the winter season, you can visit the mountains - Bansko, Borovets, Pamporovo and you'll definitely love it if you want to ski and snowboard on the snow. As it's still summer, you can visit the Rhodopean mountains, it's a really beautiful mountain and there are a lot of places that you can visit there too, such as the "Devil's Throat Cave" - > The legend about Orpheus, Krustova Gora (Cross Forest), Eagle Eye (which they say you can see Greece from there) etc. You can also visit opoznai.bg (Opoznai translates as to - Get to Know) and download the app for Android/iOS and learn more about the many places you can visit in Bulgaria, although I am not sure if it's translated into english, I haven't checked it in a while. Good luck guys and I hope that you'll be able to visit as many places as possible, I'm subscribing to your channel and again, thank you for sharing your awesome vlogs!

My parents went on a wine tour when we were on holiday in Spain years ago. Sadly I was only about 10 at the time so I wasn't allowed to try the wine, although I love red wine now as an adult. I keep watching your videos and wanting to visit all of these places, maybe one day if I save some money :D

Excellent video guys. I've just got back from several winery tours in the Western Cape of South Africa. I hope you are able to do some similar winery vlogs when you next return home to NZ as you have some fantastic wine farms both North and South Island (and Croatia if that is on your European itinerary).

@DanegerAndStacey6 жыл бұрын
We've never really been big wine drinkers either, but quality wines, smallish portions, mixed with some food, stunning vineyards etc it all sort of converts you! We haven't come across any beer tours that are anywhere near as complete as this day, but we're hunting !

Quis, quid, ubi, quibus auxiliis, cur, quomodo, quando? Vinum et musica laetificant cor. Nunc est Bibendum, nunc pede liberi pulsanda tellus. O tempora, O mores! Ita diis placuit! 'Who, what, where, with what, why, how, when? Music and wine gladden the heart. Now it is the time to drink, and now it is time for the loose feet to hit the floor. Oh what times! Thus it pleased the gods! Hic! Here are some fun food facts for you: “If you don't cheers someone before you take a swig of your beer, you can't marry them or anyone in their family. If you don't look someone in the eye while you cheers them, they have the legal right to take all your livestock. If multiple people are cheersing, their arms mustn't cross. Otherwise, there's a risk of full protonic reversal, which is punishable in some cantons by two weeks in jail. If you drop your bread in your fondue, you have to swim naked in the lake and buy drinks for everyone” 😂

When you talk about the notes of wine your moving into chemical trickery then closer to the grape.Many wine makers small and large are trying to make there wines taste like more successful labels.
