Her teeth came in early. Very early. Her top two and bottom two front teeth were poking in at just about a week. They looked like the edge of a straight razor. She was also a biter. You could see Dana try to get Daniella to go easy, And she would just grab on and bite harder. That's why Dana was never crazy about feeding the thing, Which she actually did do often.

Her poor mother was fed up, I think Dana knew there was an issue she couldnt correct. Enter Dee Dee, then she and Dolly even failed. Dani had behavorial issues which is what lead to her death.

Dana neither wanted nor needed Dolly or Deedee to step in. Dana unlike Deedee had alliances in the troop who would take Daniela and care for her. Especially Popeye and Jill. They could somehow mange to care and hold Daniela without her screaming. Probably because they were dragging and mistreating her. There are countless videos of Dana retrieving Daniela with Dolly and or Deedee hot on her trial trying to kidnap Daniela again. Deedee was never teaching any of them. That is why Maria and the alpha males keep Deedee in check now. Maybe if Deedee worked on her alliances instead of tormenting her troop members infants she might have inherited her mothers rank.

Well yes That's exactly what he did, your not to far off anyways lol. Males and higher ranking females will attack and some times kill lower ranking offspring if they are A. annoying B. But also because it causes unwanted attention to the troops over all safely. A screaming calling baby is a dinner bell for predators as well as conflict with rival males outside of the troop. The crazy screeching says i am alone and vulnerable and a small baby unattended or orphaned. A target and that attracts the wrong attention. Also its been shown to cause unrest and over all annoyance in the troop.

WLA and other sanctuaries wouldn’t intervene in nature. AMD the VO‘s aren’t allowed to intervene in nature again. They get high punishments if they would take another babies. Deedee was probably trying to get Daniela to shut up but it never stopped. So she tried to traumatize it by making it live through reasons to be screaming and that’s slamming it into the wall, dragging off the wall, physically hurting Daniella and make it bleed to prove those are true reasons to scream and holler for but no matter what Daniella still wouldn’t stay quiet for a second. Deedee decided to scare Daniella by making it face dangers of falling out of a tree, but still even Daniella didn’t stop screaming when most would focus on hanging on for dear life instead of screaming but not Daniella which proved how frustrated Deedee was getting from Daniella and probably deemed Daniella a lost cause already. Even when Dana managed to hang onto to Daniella for a second it still didn’t shut up Daniella. This is why most mothers choose to abandon their young and this one has teeth already so it’s one month, Daniella is a lost cause and that’s more than enough of a reason for Dana to give up, I wouldn’t blame her, females don’t want to attract aggressive males attention and having screaming kids will attract them, so Dana abandoning Daniella is Dana’s best choice to survive because not only Daniella will get punished but Dana as well for not teaching and training Daniella properly, but then again how could she if she can’t get Daniella to stop screaming unless she allows to nurse 24/7 which could also bring negative attention from higher ranking females. This is why Deedee and dolly took action with disciplining Daniella as a last chance situation. If Daniella doesn’t stop screaming than Daniella’s fate will be sealed and soon. Sure enough not long after an aggressive male decided to end Daniella’s screaming permanently when all she had to do was listen to her mother when she tried to teach her not to eat until it’s her turn and stop screaming, not hard lessons but apparently Daniella rebelled all lessons taught. Daniella would sneak food from vo’s constantly in front of the mothers and high ranking females and males which Daniella knew it was wrong because it kept panicking of being caught and took bites in fear while searching its surroundings but even with the other monkeys in view and watching it still didn’t stop it from eating food from the vo’s till Dana walked away giving up and Daniella knew it has to grovel and suck up to Dana and the other high ranking females and males which all were very pissed with Daniella and no matter how hard it tried to get sympathy and pity by trying to latch onto the adults they chose to turn their backs on Daniella and started to abuse her. Daniella knew what it did and didn’t think nothing of it, probably assumed Dana would protect it, that’s why when Dana walked away Daniella knew it didn’t have its mothers protection anymore and that means all the adults, juveniles and adolescents are allowed to harm and even kill Daniella. This is why no matter how hard Daniella tried to make amends with the other monkeys it didn’t matter already, Daniella sealed its fate and that’s why it didn’t survive past what it did.
