Hi guys, scale modeller & RC fan here, love the look of those vehicles. The Kommandeurwagen was the version of the VW Beetle used by the German Army during WWII. All the German Army vehicles used nummber plates starting with WH (Wehrmacht Heer).

YES, YES and YES!! I believe that VW model is from the 1940-50s era = split T read window!! If I wanted a more robust RC I'd pick the Toyota up fast!! The Beetle...meh. It's detail is GREAT!! Does the "chain" on the motor turn when on? Did you know that "canvas" top comes off? THAT'S the way the original convertible worked!! Thanks Saylors for introducing me to these COOL VEHICLES!! 💟👍😘

I grew up building models as well. I started out building Apollo series rockets. I switched to model cars and Trucks to model Space ships. Then I went to wood model boats. As a kid, that was a fantasy of mine was to be able to drive a Duesnburg or any type of 1/24 scale model car. I remember the metal model cars that were very detailed. Those kits had leather seats, operating steering and very detailed engines and transmissions. Why out of my price range. You are thinking of the LOVE BUG mabe? Nice scale cars. I wear your hat a lot by the way. I did have to wash it. Living the dream today.

That VW looks to be the right vintage that you could repaint it, and with a few decals, make it look like Herbie The Love Bug from the Disney movie of the same name! That would be very cool!

I really like the bug, but I don't like how stiff the suspension is
@4saken404 Жыл бұрын
That's my only gripe with these. But improving it would probably require more complexity along with some added weight. And that would likely affect the performance, scale model looks, etc. It's annoying but I feel like the compromise is worth it.
@madmax2069 Жыл бұрын
@@4saken404 the trucks suspension seems to be somewhat pliable, just not the bug, doesn't seem like they would need to change much.

Nice vehicle's. Like all the working lights, now just needs a horn & working wipers. The bug falls short on lights & needs more lemon 🍋 color. I'm with Abby, action bashing vehicle's are more fun. ⚓⚓👍💛💜💚👍⚓⚓.

These are super for scale detail............so why no scale drivers ? I am not alone in this 'hating' ghost driven vehicles. Tomley RC YT channel always fits figures. My Roc Hobby 1/6th scale jeep had to have a soldier driver fitted or it looked ridiculous! They could sell them as optional extras.......and I'd bet they'd sell well. When you guys are having fun..........so are we ! Thanks

I have the fms 1:6 Jimmy, it’s a really cool scale thing, not a bad price. It’s easy to damage the scale bodies on these, so hardcore crawling no go on these, but neat to run nonetheless. Like you said, perfect on a shelf, and I left it there with a little mud/dirt patina for “the look”. The Axial scx (1:10 and 1:6) and Traxxas TRX are really more proper crawlers for harder stuff. Different stuff for different focuses? Also run a Vanquish Ultra but that’s in another category, and a kit at that…
@bradkalman2353 Жыл бұрын
I hear the suspension can be lifted in three different heights.

The VW also should have had a light on that stalk on the left side of it.

You should have engaged it in 4wd and you have 4 light settings. Normal, bright, nightlight, and off.
