Congratulations on your drone license and getting things done. I didn't realize a commercial drone license was required. I I bet there's many people with drones that don't even realize that

@@karaDee2363 - Thank you - and you are probably correct. I see footage all the time on other channels that I know were filmed in an area where you are not allowed to fly. So I assume they are not licensed or they would know they are violating the rules. Unfortunately, they will learn about it when they get a hefty fine. Seems like it should be better advertised when you buy your drone. I only knew about it because I was watching a video and the guy mentioned it. So I figured I would pay it forward and mention it in our video.

i believe the commercial license is to scale down the number of everyday folks flying around all willy nilly with no understanding of rules/flying safetly. the AIS feature is likely implemented to bring a level of security and accountability to the industry.

@@nwmi493 - you are probably correct. I didn’t have a complaint about the requirements, it just meant I couldn’t fly for a period of time until it all got sorted out. Little by little I am beginning to fly more. Years of not flying both got me out of the habit of grabbing my drone and made me rusty in my flying abilities. I’m getting better on both so hopefully much more drone footage in the future!

@@debsorn -.yes, it has a high quality camera that is on a gimbal that keeps the camera stable no matter what the drone does - makes for real pretty footage
