It makes sense, given they have some different powers and use different gadgets. I hope they make them different roles if they do add them. I could see Miguel being a Vanguard if they make him as beefy as the animated version and Miles being a Strategist who could buff or heal teammates with bioelectricity and have shared invisibility (maybe a team-up ability with Invisible Woman and/or Venom (who can also cloak in the comics)). I hope they do include Miguel in some capacity (even as an NPC), considering 2099 seems to be the primary setting for the game (or at least Season 0 of it). They could also make one of them a little more beginner-friendly for the Spider-Man fans just getting into the game who haven’t yet mastered Peter Parker’s gameplay without getting turbo-K.O.’d every match.

a thing or two about spiderman are these 1. if your gpu does not make the cut, play in performance and very low on everything 2. turn off swing assists and either you choose to swing by nearest object or aim at crosshair 3. spidey has 3 swings before it cooldowns again, but you can leap twice and swing attack (E) to gain more distance 4. there are 2 modes in spiderman attack, 1 the snare and come to you type attack, you pres E and then normal attack + F, and 2 i will directly attack the enemy by first marking the enemy (right click), then E to go to them and attack 5. even though he is classed as duelist, you should play "the finishing blow" type attacker, where the lowest health you destroy, or "lurker slayer" for the ones who plays off side or far off the map 9iron man, storm, black widow, etc.)

That 10% damage buff on spiderman is active regardless of whether he's on the same team as squirrel girl, it's the same for every other team up ability that adds a percentage like that. So once season 1 comes around, that damage buff might go away and spider-man might feel really bad to play

Turn off auto swing in the settings, you can aim at the ground to pull yourself in a quick dash, the animation at the end of this can be cancelled with either an uppercut or web shot timing either of those abilities correctly, sometimes assisted with a jump, can result in a bunny hop while will give you great amounts of momentum and send you flying, as Spiderman you always want to be moving to take advantage of his hard to hit hitbox (unless the enemy is playing Hawkeye, Hela or Bucky) You're welcome.

I’m not too surprised you didn’t mention the weird ass tech Spider-Man can do because not even I would have figured it out myself. But he has a weird thing you can do called sledgehammer canceling When you use spidey’s sledgehammer attack, if you uppercut as soon as you do it, the hitbox for it stays out, and attacks along with the uppercut. If you do it as soon as you leave the ground from a webswing (you do a sledgehammer after a webswing instead of a normal punch) in front of someone, you can actually do a one shot combo on squishy characters if you shot 2 webs at them before hand It’s really hard to describe it without showing you with a video, but I did my best. That’s not even mentioning the crazy movement you can do with animation canceling as well. I just thought this one was especially crazy

The problem ends up being they can just heal back up to full and spidey usually flanks the back line so your teammates are not gonna be able to help you most of the times to finish them off before they heal back up so you just end up being annoying to the enemy team and provide almost no value assuming enemy team knows what they are doing

What im hearing from this is to use Spidermans greatest weapon in the comics; his ability to annoy the hell out of his opponent into doing something stupid. Spiderman is mobile enough to get behind enemy lines, distrupt their formation, take out inportant roles like snipers and healers, and get out before they can react. That is super annoying and can easily cause players to abandon their strategy.

My best advice is too play it just like any other spider man game but everyone is a boss just stick and move and be wise we your web balls cause that zip punch followed by the upper cut and sinwging away cirlcing back and smacking them again your main goal should be too keep swing through the enemies and confuse allowing your team to make moves the swing rekaods pretty fast when you use it riggt you can almost never stop swingin and uper cutting people ive literally played several macthes of multiple mode without dying at all or barely dying and multiple mvps
