While a regular person _would_ have trouble swinging, they'd most likely lose their grip before their arm would rip off, but Spider-man's super strength is what prevents him from injuring himself during swinging. They even comment on it in TAS when he loses his powers temporarily. He tries swinging and injures himself and says he can't swing without his spider-strength. His body is strong enough to lift 10 tons or more depending on the version, so supporting his own body weight is no problem at all. It's also why he's able to generate so much momentum by kicking his legs out when swinging. Basically like gymnasts do on the bars but with exponentially more energy.

I'm glad more people are talking about how dang good things like swinging is in the Amazing Spider-Man movies, they were so creative with some of it and it just felt *good*. I especially like the talk how the suit in ASM2 is the best (in many ways but especially) for including the wrinkles and folds and the looseness, I really hate how smooth and fake looking the Tom Holland suits are. It's such a strange choice to cg the entire suit all the time, much like how for the Falcon and Winter Solider show they talked about how they did something similar for taking away the folds in Sam's Cap costume and I was so annoyed, the bts footage before it was "fixed" looked so much better and realistic.

Tom’s suits not having wrinkles actually makes a lot of sense. It isn’t a suit that peter has made like in raimi movies or tasm, but it has been given to him by tony stark, which is tech incorporated. If you remember homecoming, when he wore his suit it was all baggy and wrinkly but then he pressed his chest spider and it was like body fit. And the fabric doesn’t exactly seem like one in which you could get wrinkles. But I bet the suit that we got at the end of nwh would have wrinkles its made by peter, just like the one in beginning of homecoming

Finally someone talks about how boring toms swinging is! Literally almost every shot is zoomed in on his face and Zendayas hair, its honestly so boring to watch tom swing😭😭

Kinda crazy that I also remember the impact of seeing the wrinkles in TASM 2, but didn't know everyone else liked it too!

this video reminds me of one of the reasons i love spider-man so much for me flight and super speed just cant match how cool what Batman and Spiderman do, its like 3:46 made me get up from bed and finally turn on my ps5 and play the only games i have on there Spider-man and Spider-man 2

If you want to talk about Spider-Man irl idk what would happen to him cause of his super abilities, but he would rip off a piece of building and fall for sure

About that intro. I’ve seen spiders swing around on their webs before. Of course they didn’t use their hands or go from one to another but I’ve seen spiders swinging around on a string that made it look like they were flying

To this day, my favorite swing style is Tobey's. I know it's not perfect, but the gracefullness paired with the sound score is just so awesome. But without a doubt, that swing from Andrew's spidey is the best. Tom's swinging style still feels... inexperienced. If I was Bane I would say to him "You swing like young man, with nothing held back. Admirable, but mistaken."

Now Disney has robots that do the swinging and air work.

Absolutely incredible how 15:38 is completely CG, Marc Webb's spiderman movies had something special. I would have bet all my money that it was a real shot of Andrew in suit

I mean with the context of the mcu it makes sense that tom hollands spiderman has no wrinkles, cuz its a suite made by ironman which adjusts itself perfectly to the body. Also I agree when I saw that ending animation in no way home I also immediately saw how digital it looks.
@tonuahmed4227Ай бұрын
The ending could've been used to change the suit functionality a bit since he himself made new suit with least amount of technology he has now...but no...
@JuhoSpriteАй бұрын
@@tonuahmed4227 lol. maybe theyll end up changing it again for the real movie. Im pretty sure from all the rumors and leaks that we will only see spiderman again during the next avengers movies, and only in between that there's gonna be a new stand alone spiderman movie

I actually prefer the swinging in the Tobey Maguire movies because of how very straightforward they are and he never uses more webbing than is needed. I hate seeing those pictures of Spider-Man swinging and he's basically got a web lasso in his hand from just 1 line because that's the #1 reason he usually runs out of fluids at the often worst times

TASM swinging is easily the most fun to watch, but also TASM has the best depiction of being the superhero spider-man, especially the way he moves and his quippiness.
