You are just using direct 12V battery to create spark-weld, that carbon rod from the dry cell battery didn't play any part at all.... WHY ?????? Razor blades can be safely welded together just by discharging capacitors ... so why do a dangerous shorting or 12v lead-acid battery terminals??

Te estoy viendo de argentina.se podria utilizar para soldar cables muy finos de los ventiladores de techo y en vez de usar una bateria se puede usar una fuente de 12v 3a creo que sacando punta al electrodo de zinc es suficiente es complejo conseguir enchufes antiguos .espero que le sirva mis comentarios saludos

The title is misleading! If you don't have a 12V battery at home, don't waste your time watching. The only use for the 1.5V battery was to remove the bar. After a lot of fiddling, the wires are connected to a 12V battery, which is not something that anyone normally has at home!

O título é enganoso! Se você não tem uma bateria de 12V em casa, não perca tempo assistindo. A única utilidade da pilha de 1,5V foi para retirar a barra. Depois de muita enrolação, os fio são ligados numa bateria de 12V que não é algo ordinário que qualquer pessoa tem em casa!
