Thank you so much for what you do! Love the before and after at the Trevi Fountain, to see the 'work in progress'. It is important for everyone to be able to see the reality of travel today!

Ti invito a portare anche altre zone di Roma invece delle solite aree super turistiche... Il quartiere Coppedè, l'Eur, il foro italico ecc.... il patrimonio di Roma è immenso

Thank you for the useful video.. Will the fountain be open by Christmas time? We are planning to be in Rome on Dec 27th and 28th?
@AmazingWalkingTour3 күн бұрын
I'm sure it will be opened to public before December 27. A temporary walkway has been installed inside the fountain. The video is coming up shortly.

If I were in authority in Rome, I would make a greater effort to partially-restore the ancient appearance of the Forum and make it an accessible public space

It's interesting that the imperial system survived tyrants like Nero quite well

I understand that the sculpture of Neptune at the Trevi Fountain was designed by Giovanni Battista Marini and executed by Pietro Bracci

The ground level has risen a lot since the days of the Roman Empire. Where has it changed the most? Campus Martius? It may be different all over the city?

When the fire broke out Nero was not in Rome he was in Anzio. It is important to study history to avoid false rumors.

Well, you should've finished reading all the captions before commenting. I did write that Nero was not in Rome when Rome was on fire.

a lot of stupid people cling to the plastic fence and worry that they cannot destroy the last memories of antiquity. they think they have the right to do so. they are destructive.
