Wow Shawna😊! What an awesome haul! I am so happy for you! You really deserve it. I feel like you are constantly working on improving your skill and so eager to try out things that are new to you. No better colorist for all these mediums to go to but you❤! Or is it media? I would love to see a flip through of the Mythographic Rainbow book. I don't have any of them because they are just not for me but I do like the art style very much and maybe this one I could do. Ooh I LOVE inktense pencils. You do NOT have to sharpen them!! It’s actually better to keep them pretty dull, especially if you plan on using them straight on paper and then activating them. It keeps the pencil strokes from showing. I’ve had them for maybe 2 years and I learn something I swear every single time and they are my pencil of choice! I’m glad I found your channel!

I sharpen my pencils weather they are colored pencils, regular pencils, Inktense pencils etc... when they are no longer sharp enough to color with etc... Plus I would never ever recommend anyone to use their Derwent Inktense pencils when they are dull at all.

I have never used Gelatos are they similar to paint or more like a gel stick?

Yes they are gel sticks I've tried cheaper brands and they don't work as well, never put them directly to your page , buy a cheap placement from the dollar tree and rub it on that and then pick up with brushes way easier to use than neo color 2's ...hope this helps!

@@debbie9001You can apply gelatos and gel sticks directly to the page and wet them with a paint brush/water brush or use a tool you would use to smudge pastels (soft, hard or oil) on a page with.
