I love a good haul video! As a novice watercolorist, I have learned better paints will make a huge difference . In your video on watercolor as a background, you mentioned the colors were muted. That’s due to the high filler content compared to the actual pigment. Good watercolors can produce deep, vivid colors, or light, bright colors depending on how much water is used. I’m not familiar with the watercolors you just showed, but with 160 colors, I expect they will have a high filler content as well. I would suggest checking out other colorists using watercolors on their pages & getting some suggestions for reasonably priced sets that will give more vibrant colors. And creating more colors is much easier with watercolor - just mix 2 colors on a palette to get a wide range of colors by varying the amount of each in the mix. I hope I don’t sound too pedantic - I just love the magic that can happen with watercolor. Good luck with your channel!

I am new here, and know a colorist who has Dover CBN books from George Toufexis, and his work has a lot of details, and I would not suggest using markers in them. Try pencils first
