cloud watch alarms are state based alarms, if connected to lambda via sns it will trigger the lambda functions once and send a slack notification can the function be triggered until the system comes back to normal state?
@edurekaIN4 жыл бұрын
Hi Pratiksha, CloudWatch will trigger an alarm to send a message to an SNS topic if the monitoring data gets out of range. A Lambda function will be invoked in response of SNS receiving the message and will call the Slack API to post a message to Slack channel. Once created, use the AWS CLI to deploy the function to Lambda. Hope that solves your query.

How to create a instance in the ec2
@edurekaIN5 жыл бұрын
Hi Irfan! First create your EC2 Resources and launch your EC2 Instance Choose Launch Instance. Step 1: Choose an Amazon Machine Image (AMI), find an Amazon Linux AMI at the top of the list and choose Select. Step 2: Choose an Instance Type, choose Next: Configure Instance Details. Step 3: Configure Instance Details, choose Network, and then choose the entry for your default VPC. Hope this is helpful!
